I have reviewed the JBL TUNE 500BT recently and had the chance to compare them to the JBL TUNE 510BT Headphones. The JBL TUNE 510BT is a step up from the JBL TUNE 500BT because of the battery life.
The JBL TUNE 510BT is basically the same Bluetooth wireless headphones but with just a better battery capacity enabling you to listen to music for up to 40 hours which is very good on a 2 hour charge. During my test, the headset lasted me 39.5 hours with wireless listening so it was very close.
The JBL TUNE 510BT does not have noise cancellation or any of that, but it does feature comfortable earcups. However, I found them to be on the smaller side during my review. The JBL TUNE 510BT features Bluetooth 5.0 which is a bit outdated, but I did not notice any latency issues. The BASS sound on the JBL TUNE 510BT during my review was very noticeable and clear. I did enjoy listening to RAP music with quality BASS and was also able to get very clear sound during soft rock, and rock-n-roll songs.
Overall, the JBL TUNE 510BT is a great start headphones if you are not looking for ANC or active noise cancelling or any of the other features we now see with $50+ headphones.

I picked up a pair recently from Amazon for $30. They'll be for my office when I want to zone out. Not s big fan of in ear buds. So far so good. Also, they last forever on a single charge. And they are s bit tight but will of course loosen up over time.

Looks to be a great sports headphone. Since it's quite stiff it won't fall of your head that easily during your exercises.

I got these headphones a few weeks ago, and they're great for price! These headphones may seem cheap and all and I do agree they fit a bit tight at first but throughout time it felt more comfortable. The bass is extremely great to the point where if you listen to a big bass song with these volume high up, the headphones pads are literally vibrating like literally. even though it doesn't have noise cancelation with this bass and volume it cancels out the noise.

Hi there! Help a dove out! I'm planning to buy me one of these headphones for myself and my vibes feels right about this. But the only thing holding me back is my lack of knowledge over the mic quality. Is the mic clear and conscise? How's the mic quality? I want a headphone that can both give satisfactory music and at the very least. 'Clear and of good quality calls' over it's inbuilt mic. Honestly I'd love to put more emphasis over the 'calls and mic' aspect more so than then the music. Please share me all the insight that you're willing to divulge to me! And for the others that may be wondering the same thing. I'm gonna post this comment round here a lil more. I need to know. And the nearest shop is like, 3-4 hours drive from here. It's far. The traffic is horrific. Looking forward and I'd absolutely appreciate it if you're willing to take the deep dive with me over this! I need to know! Patiently awaiting your calls, beloveds! 🦋

@@Floofaloofa The JBL headphones has a pretty solid microphone. For the price you won't be expecting a top tier microphone but it does the job pretty well. However it does also depends on several factors like how far away you're from the mic, and background noises, but tbh the microphone is a pretty solid one. And the bass is insane. And I believe that this headphones is a good price for satisfying the ear, and a good microphone.

@@Floofaloofa np, I still use mines. But one problem I did got one time was I turned off the Bluetooth on my phone instead of turning off my headphones. So later on it didn't connect. A fix I did was to just turn it off and charged it and it started connecting again.

Great product for the money. Overall quality is very good compared to more expensive models. I don't have the same complaints as reviewer does here. Would recommend to anyone for any purpose.

Great headphones. I've had mine for over a year and did a ton of traveling with no issues. Flew Alaska to Florida and back without a re-charge. Then a few trips to SoCal and a trip to Ohio and back. They are very comfortable, and I really appreciate the extra battery life and how compact they are. These are affordable and reliable.

These headphones are perfect ! I have the 500BT and they can take abuse after abuse. I work partly outside and have been taking them out when its sprinkling, on bike rides, on sweaty workouts and have been dropping them here and there. They are survivors and just yesterday bought the 510BT mainly for work. I will retire my 500's just for workouts. They are a bit snug but after continuous use they get better on the ears. One thing you should know about the ear pads is that they start degrading after about 2 to 3 years in but that's because I wore them 8 hrs straight on the job and sweating on them too. So it depends how much mileage you put on them. battery life is still great and sound quality is still there. If you're looking for a workhorse these are the ones.

Great review and information, very helpful. I just got one because my Bose headphones are fading away fast because I wear them so much like a few hours every day. This video just gave them 10 minutes of charging time. Can't wait to use them for the first time. You really do know how it works. I don't need the manual anymore because you are better.

Great review! I think these are perfect workout headphones which is what I got em for they block out a lot and if they break they’re only $50 and fast charging thru USB C is perfect when I forget to charge them. Also I like that they’re a lil tight so they stay on when I’m deadlifting or squatting or whatever

I bought these for work. I work from home and I'm on conference calls all day. My head is probably wider than most and I was worried about how tight they fit. So far, they have been very comfortable wearing for 9 hours straight. I've been using them for 2 weeks now and they still feel comfortable. Battery life is incredible. They sound clear, deep bass, I sound clear to others on conference calls. I would recommend these to anyone.

First of all they make weird noises when nothing is playing and then 2 weeks later the headphones are cracked on both sides of the headband so they can fall off my head... These are the worst earphones I've ever had... Even before i never had that kind of issues with jbl headphones... But i join this guy sayings, jbl earphones are trash these days... Better buy some Sony ones.

Just bought a pair today to test using on the ear headsets and my first impression is that they are worth every dollar I spent. Now, we'll see if there is durability. In a couple weeks I'll be buying the Marshall Major IV for my main set if I'm ok with on the ears instead of over the ears. These will be my first pairs of real headsets. I'm trying to get away from wireless earbuds.

Agree with tight fit. Not very comfy . Leaks sound outside. Definitely not a very immersive sound. Just ok for casual listening while jogging, gym etc..

I bought my first pair from JBL for the $49.95 price with free shipping and those were so good that I bought two more pairs at $24.95 each on sale from JBL for my family and we love them! The first pair, my husband has, and has the added warranty because he’s very rough on headphones.

I literally have a pair of 19$ headphones that beat out these 150$ headphones. they are not only bad but the worst headphones ive ever owned. the frequency is very low , the battery hardly lasts, the sound quality is straight trash compared to a 19$ pair of no name brand headphones. Hands down the worst headphones ive ever had in the 37 years ive built and maintained computer/printers/fax/network systems.

In the Amazon User manual, it is given that it could be used in wired mode as well for listening songs on the laptop and on the pic, 3.5 mm jack is also shown. Whereas in the actual piece which I hv purchased no such port is present. What should I do?? Also, what about the Google assistant. You didn't cover that part.

In focusing on the solution for the tightness, go ahead and take a heat gun and carefully I stress carefully heat up and manipulate the plastic so they’re not so tight. Works like a charm.

I am gifting these to my mother on christmas, these were on sale for 25€ with a huge battery so i am happy! But wireless headsets do fail over time and without 3,5mm jack it becomes e-waste. It's also a reson not to shell out hunders of dollars for wireless headsets.

My skullcandy crusher's pairing is not working . So buying these as a back up. Luckily I had money in my remaining gift card. So if my crusher's work again. I will use them and this will be a back up. I am draining the battery of my crusher to see if it will let me to a complete reset. But the size thing does bother me . I have a huge forehead but not a long head.

I just ordered a pair. I may be ok, with the tightness of the band. It actually may be an indicator, or not, that it'll solve my issue with my last over the ear headphones. The Headband CRACKED !! Had to tape em up to stay on my head. Anyone can give some insight into this? Do you think the haeadbands on the JBL will/can crack easily? Ty

Bought a set today for £35 from B&M and am already impressed with them. I did have a Goodman's set before but the locking clip and even tho they worked perfectly still I thought I'd just buy a new set. I saw the JBL ones and even tho more expensive than the Goodman's ones I thought I would go for the change.

Alr just a quick question. So on my box it said sth along the lines of "WARNING: Cancer and reproductive harm" which after some researching i think it basically means this product contains cancer inducing chemicals and can damage your reproductive capabilities. Which leads me to my question, is it literally dangerous to use the product (pls help im so paranoid and confused parents got me for my bday and for some reason the "WARNING..." thing was the first thing that caught my eye😭)
