I like your speaker reviews. I thought I followed you already but apparently not so I just followed you. I wonder what would happen if you dropped either one of the JBL speakers on the ground while the passive radiators are going. I wonder would it get damaged.

TY! Sold- I'm buying Soundcore Motion 300- I can charge my phone separately like I always do- 😋 I can buy 2 Soundcore Motion 300s for the price of one JBL Charge 5🤔 Its a no-brainer. Better sound while saving money! The Soundcore, on its own, sounded better- IMO- I clicked on all the links to help you make millions & subscribed. 😂 TY again~

So I own the JBL Flip 6 and the SoundCore Motion 300 and in my opinion the JBL flip 6 has better bass. On some songs on the soundcore motion 300, once you surpass 50-60 percent volume you begin to hear bass distortion. Please hear it for yourself. I’d recommend playing Take Your Time Do It Right by the S.O.S band and play it at like 50-60 percent volume or higher and hear the bass distortion. Initially I thought it was the EQ I had the speaker set to in the custom EQ. So then I decided to set it back to the SoundCore Signature Sound mode and still heard the bass distortion. I think that the speaker has deep bass given its size. And even with the bass distortion it has sometimes I still think it’s 100% a solid good speaker given its size and price. I just personally prefer the JBL Flip 6 for the better bass.

The JBL definitely has more clarity but the soundcore is more rich. I'd prefer the JBL but honestly the soundcore seems like it punhes above its weight.

I have the JBL Flip 6 in my car. I just bought the Motion 300 for my home. I paid only $60 from Amazon on Prime Day. Big Disappointment, it sounds tinny even with the base added. I'm sending it back to Amazon.

In my opinion at least with the default EQ the soundcore motion 300 sounds more boxy. But still a great rival. Stating that it is half the price

I initially thought when I heard bass distortion on the speaker, I thought it was because of the EQ settings I had the speaker adjusted/set to in the Custom EQ. But later come to find out that the speaker still has bass distortion even in the SoundCore Signature Sound Mode. Soundcore support basically told me they won’t try to do anything to fix the bass distortion that the SoundCore Motion 300 has unless enough people complain about the bass distortion.

Charge 5 sounds very solid. Motion 300 is very clear, indeed hifi. But the style of the sound is hard to say. I don't like the default EQs. I tried to set my own eq, sounds better, but I wish someone could help me set a nice eq with better results. Basically my frustration with Motion 300 is i don't know how to set a good EQ. JBL even Go 4, has a nice out of the box sound (although it has its limits due to not HiFi, small wattage) I know Motion 300 has clear sound, but i need a easy good end result.

@@victoriavlucas I can’t remember the song now. But I played a song the other day on my motion 300 using the soundcore signature sound and heard disortion. Play drunk in love by Beyoncé featuring jay-z or play cold by maroon 5 featuring future. I believe both songs had distortion even in SoundCore’s signature sound mode. Or play say so by doja cat featuring Nicki Minaj. To me any song that test the bass to its boom limit seems to affect the sound on the motion 300. Idk just my personal opinion. The bass sounds a little out of control at louder volumes on some songs. When I say out of control I mean it begins to develop a lag to it. Once you surpass 50-60 percent volume. But for the speakers price and size it’s still a solid option. Especially if you’re on a budget. But hey I’m no expert just giving my opinion.
