Sometimes it causes the surface to audibly vibrate. Which sounds horrible and is just bad design.

@@JerkyFraser nothing bad design about that tons of speakers/subs use different surfaces to boost the bass/sounds of the speak, its the reason the the sony tends to sound way better than the JBL

Agree! But you should be more specific because w King has quite a few very good Bluetooth speakers. D-8, d-9, and a couple of newer ones.(I know there's a 70 watt speaker maybe it's the t11. And a party speaker). Alan Ross does terrific reviews on the w King speakers.

I have personally used the d9. It is literally twice as loud as the soundcore boom. It lists for $90 and it's 60 watts but I got it on sale for 60 bucks at launch. You have to play it loud for it to sound good though. Doesn't have a lot of value as an indoor speaker in my opinion. But I paid $65 for it on sale and it is so freaking loud. It has a great passive radiator too. For some songs the bass will literally have the entire thing jumping around like a frog. I still would probably recommend the soundcore motion boom to most people just because of the app support the battery life and how lightweight it is. But w King is one of the more compelling budget speaker companies. And they are releasing a lot of new products it seems

@@michaelcorcoran8768 thanks for your review I personally think there great also,I've currently been using for work the beats pill plus for the last 3 years which isn't a bad speaker and sounds OK,but I was very surprised how good the w-king was and especially the price here in the UK you can buy it for around £40👍👍

Most of the time the JBL is the clear winner, but trust me, when it comes to these small ones, the Sony is 100% better.

The Sony wasn't loud enough for me at work. I had to keep it tied to my shoulder to hear it. The JBL seems way louder.

Greetings from France ! I have the Sony xb 12 and I 'm wondering if it's possible to pair it with the xb 13.

How's the sound of Sony XB 12 ? Is it loud enough ?

@@gargieagnihotri at full volume it’s great for the size, it will fill a room nicely, outdoors it won’t sound as loud, but that’s with any small speaker, the good thing about the Xb-12 is that it has an aux port, the xb-13 doesn’t, but overall it’s a great speaker

I have the Xb-12 and It has both left and right as well as party mode you can switch between them by pressing the button, I’m assuming the xb-13 can also do party mode, but if not, the left and right is confirmed

I think Sony has been slept on in the personal audio space. I have the Sony SRS-XB33 Bluetooth speaker & it sounds amazing!

Sony audio is very overrated. LG have better HIFI systems, the lights they use on most the songs look cheap and ugly, and the drivers are old looking with the dust cap. Plus Sony genuinely have a lack in bass In person, I’ve heard them myself. The only thing they win at is being grandma bookshelf speakers

in fact, low frequencies are reflected from the table and thus more of them reach your ear.

Sony is waterproof as well it doesn't have a clip but it has a strap. The sound of the Sony is way better and if you combined 2 together it's even better JBL can't do that. If you see it clearly Sony is winning in every category just the clip is better in JBL but Sony had the answer for that, the second best thing the strap so whatever you want to hang the JBL you can hang the Sony as well.

@@DroneDaysgr JBL boombox vs Sony XB60 , I chose the latter. Sony's sound quality is just proven good.

He loved the evo crushers. You can still find that review. It's one of the funnest to watch because he gets so excited. Even more than usual
