I have a Asus X540sa (specifically named the laptop) with Windows 10 and a old IBM ThinkCentre Desktop from 2001 with Linux on it as my Music Player PC.
I’m listening to this out of my JBL Charge 3 I love the song you used! The charge 2 sounded almost like the real thing because I am listening on a later version of the exact model.

It is weird that on the high bass note the charge’s bass radiator moved less. Or is that just the camera? Also on the JBL go the high bass note sounded lower than the low note. Weird?
DJIJ SpeakerGuy Yeah, it is weird, the Charge 2+ has a compressor in it that lowers the volume if the bass starts getting too much, I don't quite know what is with the Go though...
Pbknowall they are non-powered speakers ie. they use the changing air pressure created inside the speaker' body as the main powered speaker's diaphragm moves up and down. For eg. when the main powered speaker moves up, there is vacuum created inside the body of the speaker, and then the passive radiator moves down to fill the vacuum. This way, they act indirectly like a speaker. They are often used in speakers for enhanced bass. Hope this helps you.
The Charge 2+ is better, though I bet it would be hard to find one, considering how old they are, the Charge 3 is very similar to the Charge 2+, it's just a bit louder.
Hope you do not mean it serious. If you want to be a serious technical and informational channel you sholuld learn hwo sound signal processing works and that this video is 100% pointless because you can never have a single clue how a speaker sounds through a video. Completely impossible. Even if your recording would be perfectly linear and the converting would be 100% lossless. The Equipment the listener uses is completely not and different from person to person. How the sounds comes through the video is far away how it actually really is
Dom I see what you mean, I actually don't expect the videos to let people know exactly the speakers sound, these are just to provide a rough idea of how the speakers perform and to provide a platform for people to ask questions about the speakers featured in the videos, anything about them is unclear to someone. I apologise if any of this was misleading...
Meh. The Bose Soundlink Color has better bass. I own it and it is the only speaker I will ever own. I will not buy anything else because the Soundlink Color is the best right now.
EpicEverythingDude75 , Hi, Bose is a really good brand, but please keep in mind that these videos are only recorded using a cellphone canera, it doesn't respond the same to the bass as the human ear...
Okay, I kind of thought this video sounded bad but now you told me it was taken using a cell phone. My Bose uses dual passive radiators that face each other. This design removes any vibration from the speaker itself and allows the passive radiators to produce full bass not just rumble. It can also get very loud and has little to no distortion even at high volumes. I paid 130 bucks for it and i love it.Reinard Harmse
Quite funny. The Bose Soundlink Color is one of the worse speakers in its class. It's not really bad, but for the same price, there's quite a bit better out there.
