I don't know if you noticed but the JBL partyboxes battery also varies on if you used the light feature and the bass boost not just volume. I have the JBL partybox 110 and I was able to get 6 hours on 40% volume with bass boost off in the lights off but at that same volume with the lights on and bass Boost on I was able to get 3 hours so that light feature and bass boost really affect your battery life a whole lot. Also I've had my speaker at full blast with the lights off and bass boost and I was able to get 2 and a half hours but with the lights on in bass boost on I was able to get about an hour and a half.
I'm going to pin thins people need to know this major issue. Like whats the whole point of a portable speaker when it dies before you get to your destination? We also have to factor in battery degradation as well as the speaker gets older it naturally holds less charge. And that can pose more of a concerning issue. 😟 🔌 you guys gonna need this 🤣
@@Randommmmm204 mine never last that long on full volume. And you still having 32% of battery life you could have got probably 5 hours at full volume. Did you have the lights on as well? The most I can get out on full volume is about two-and-a-half to 3 hours with bass boost off and the light off. It also varies depending on what kind of music you listen to music with more Bass will drain the battery quicker than music with less Bass.
I will be using the speakers in a parade. Last year, full blast lasted an hour and slowly got softer. So I'm using the ecoflow delta 2 to give it constant power and louder longer.
I recently had an outdoor party, and everyone was like, "Is that as loud as it can get I said yeh but technically no. Just plugged it in, and it did the job for me.

My wife knows about the soundboks 4 and was livid. She doesn't know about the rest. So! I gotta sell the rest of my speaker collection. Of course people are going to ask me to do freebie gigs. @vasilchapanov3565 Nope, it's Bluetooth, so that's the case. But if it'd then latency between both on its own, I'd say it's nonexistent, hence why they gonad a stereo with two.
@lorenzo_Angeles Could you plug in two 1/4 cables from a mixer into the back? It says it's for mic and guitar, but sometimes it can work with other monitors/speakers. Peace

I'm interested in buying this partybox but I'm concerned about the battery life. Can I keep it on charge while it's in use and the battery could last longer?
yes. there is a feature that enhances the audio when plugged in. and if you leave it plugged in it will go into a hibernation mode with the power button glowing orange allowing you to switch on the speaker remotely. * answer to your question.* i don't believe leaving it plugged in for a long time should do some damage to the battery as i like to think that's what its designed for. what also support my theory, is when you plug the speaker in your bypassing the battery and drawing power from the mains. and if this was a massive issue i think we would have known by now, as they was released some time ago, and far from my experience i always keep them on charge with no seen issue. hope this helped. if you have anymore questions or want more tips. or any issues, don't be shy to ask I live on this yt studio thingy anyways lol .
It was in terms of battery life you were getting with the speaker as jbl clames weren't entirely true. They were stating they you could get 12hrs when, in reality, you would get 3-6hrs at full blast. I kept it positive because it wasn't a really annoying issue for me as I don't tend to go roge with it often. But it was something that wasn't entirely true in the comments somewhere. There was a debate as others were getting different battery life on a single charge. In reality, jbl tested the speaker under unrealistic conditions to get the best possible battery life out of it. Probably at 5% volume, no lights bass boost off lol.
