that's why the partybox 1000 gives that earth shattering monstrous bass because of that gigantic bottom speaker. I thought the deep bass it gives just came from the 2 front speakers
I always clean mine EVERY MORNING using a brush. The brush´s hairs remove most of the dust. The hands are used to finish cleaning the grill. This way you leave the grill like it was when you bought it.
Hello i have a mini bluetooth amifier that has 2 speaker out and 1 sub out..my question is can i connect the woofer to the sub out?? Or woofer for the speaker out? Thanks
Build your own. I have a pair of 8 inch 2 way speakers that are louder and sound better than the jbl 1000. my set of 12s well we dont talk about those Lol
I just bought one of these yesterday. Has an awful rattle at the bottom where that 12 is. At first I thought it was my floor rattling, but nope, it’s something loose in the cabinet. Not sure if it’s the sub it’s self or something inside. Not impressed that’s for sure. I’m going to try to see if I can tighten all 8 screws holding the sub in before I return it or risk taking it apart, but I don’t know if I can reach all the screws with that grill on
get your money back and get some actual speakers dude. Its an overpriced chinese speaker. Low quality sub just by looking at it. for 1k+ speaker i would assume youd get something better than a stamped steel basket sub. I have a pair of 2 way 8 inch speakers that are cleaner and louder than the partybox 1000. sandcast aluminum woofer baskets and the magnet based on the vid is probably the close to the same size
I built a skar car speaker system 2 600 RMS each 12s and 2 6.5s mids with two amps also from skar, receiver and 100 amp power max converter for 650 dollars
@@TheMarklandian Actually for those, its like getting an already built pc than building your own which is why its overpriced and btw... it has more features than creating your own, it may be expensive but atleast you wont get any defect rather than building it yourself not knowing what to use... like misplacing things. power supply issues or like that, its really a hassle ... if these people can already buy these things... why would they even need to build it to themselves for a cheaper price if they dont want any hassle getting a partyspeaker. its like getting a laptop instead of a gaming computer
I need a favor. Can you post a video of replacing the battery in the air gesture wristband that comes with the JBL PartyBox 1000? I tried following the instructions, but for the life of me, I cannot get the back of it off. I'm using a coin and trying to turn it counter-clockwise from 12:00 to 09:00, but it won't budge. It's even starting to scratch up the back of the wristband because I am applying so much force. I'm afraid that if I try to hold the coin with a pair of pliers that it is going to break the wristband. Is there a trick to this or am I doing something wrong?
I opened mine up yesterday when I got it as I thought I had to add the batteries but it turned out they were an extra set. I don’t know why they are so tight as I thought the same thing that I was going to break it, but it will turn eventually, just a lot of force. Didn’t break on me though.
@@gitrdqne Yeah, same here, but then I figured that if I ended up breaking it a year from now when the 1st set of batteries are dead and it’s no longer under warranty, I’d be really mad so I’d might as well find out if it’s going to break right now.
Essa caixa é dutada. O segredo dos graves bonitos vai muito por conta da sensibilidade dos alto falantes que a JBL usa. Eu coloquei dois subwoofer da partybox 100 na parte de trás do meu carro e os graves melhoraram 100%.
@@franciscoroberio There is no "best" really, at leas ta discernable one. But KEF is one, just for starters, and Bose actually has a much better sound quality just maybe not as much bass. JBL is close to the top of the MID-range speaker options.
@@treywilliams8508 JBL has some good high end options too like the L100 Classics or Everest DD67000 which are like $85k. And they have some crazy vintage stuff too like the 4355. They used to make some really nice speakers but all they do now is bluetooth speakers and headphones.
no subwoofer without a box can cause things to vibrate around. there must be a subwoofer in the background that causes vibrations. This is an advertisement for a Bluetooth speaker..
It's just cheap low frequency woofers, people think JBL is doing something magic but it's just a regular tube sub design with a 80 dollar woofers in it and ALOT of processing in the amp to make it sound like it does.
@@JBL_BASSSS yeah it might cool down better BUT EVER HEARD SMTH ABOUT MECHANICAL OVERLOAD?!!! so ur coil in the driver will hit the magnet and than the coil will be damaged... it wont burn but it will make scratchy sounds!!!
I already thought JBL was overpriced overhyped and low quality but this was just funny. Stamped steel basket with a tiny magnet and then they're saying its an 1100 watt speaker. Worst part is its $1300. I'll keep my home system that hits 130db has a cleaner sound and is less than half the price. Just sad tbh.
@@mikiel2216 I don’t remember where but that’s what I guessed when someone asked. 200 or 250 watts. For $1300 I’d think you would get at least a cast frame subwoofer.
What's the point of this video? Anyone can take something a part and look inside with a camera. Too much work for you to give some analysis to what good or bad about it.... maybe an opinion why you like it or not?
@@Cheese_1337 even if the case has a bass reflex tunnel, it doesn't matter. The speaker is designed to operate in specific pressure conditions, and the case with its port is calculated to cooperate with it. Air volume has damping property and protects the driver from damages.
Least interesting dismantling video I've ever seen. You only took out the sub and then all you did was abuse it free-air. What does that show us? Show the guts of the amplifier, signal processing, control panel, etc.
Como é JBL, ninguém reclama do tamanho do conjunto magnético deste Subwoofer, né?
No wonder it's expensive lots of speaker and i've noticed it a playful subwoofer even at a low volume, coz my speaker has a deep bass but it does not move much if not played loud
Because what this horn costs, I better buy some electrovoice, they are already for professional use, also the human does not listen to watts, listen to decibels, which is different, this horn has much less db
jbl says its 1100 watt speaker but saying the sub gets that much power would be an absolute joke. Based on what the coil and everything on it looks like id say 200 or 250 watts if even that.
no subwoofer without a box can cause things to vibrate around. there must be a subwoofer in the background that causes vibrations. This is an advertisement for a Bluetooth speaker
1:54 this entire thing, the wood, the subwoofer itself, the overall construction , it all just screams like some cheap fibreboard or mdf and chinese garbage what a joke all that money for what
It’s likely mdf which is what most sub boxes r made off. It’s $65 a sheet for me. I build boxes. Wouldn’t call it cheap. But u can make a better portable speaker (won’t look as good) for cheaper. It’s not worth the money in my opinion
@@TopgC04 yes, thats what i was trying to say, i should have been more specific that anyone can probably build that thing with better components for much less
