Thanks for sharing. Just did a straight replacement with batteries from Amazon. They were for portable JBL speakers so had to cut and solder the old connector on. Way cheaper than certified service.
022022/0020h PST 🇺🇸 First of all thank you for the instrumental by Abhishekh Andrews. I bought JBL 9.1, 3 months ago and still under warranty. My right satellite driver died on the first day itself, even after on charge, overnight. This followed several times. I spoke to JBL Harman Kardon submitted report. Now waiting to hear favorable response. Since the amp is under warranty, I don’t see any issue for a replacement of right side driver. But now I know, what to do in future (after warranty period). Thanks to the person immensely for his efforts to educate, as to how a replacement is performed. Battery cells looks like Li-Ion cells in parallel (4.2V@6000mAhr) Thanks again bro. Peace….
Thank you so much for the video. I wonder why JBL has made it so tedious to do battery replacement. If it is non-user replaceable, does JBL expect us to buy a new speaker instead? 🤷♀️
@@DJbernardo1320 Haha, I managed to replace the battery thanks to this video... had to use some force, and still have ~ 5 screws left... but it is working again.
I was just wondering that can we give output of soundbar speaker to external other speaker? This 5.1 have flat audio of soundbar speakers. Sub is fine but soundbar audio is very flat.

Hi sir, I just bought my new jbl 51blkep 5.1 home theater. My detachable surround speakers turns off when I plug out of the sound bar. Please tell me what might be the reason. Will the surround speakers charges automatically when put them back to the magnetic sound bar. Red light blinks and disappear. Please reply?
I knocked my left speaker in on the floor and now it won't connect to play sound. I found 1 place only that sells the side speakers separately. If I buy a new speaker will it pair and work just like normal or is there some special trick I need to do? I would get it repaired but I think the repair will cost as much as the speaker.
@@jokerplpl I contacted JBL directly and they put me in touch with the correct repair/replacement center. I was able to order a brand new speaker between 80-90 euro and it pairs and works fine with the rest of the sound system
What is the functionality for the last two wires with white socket that you finally attached, are connected to nothing. Can the satellite battery be disconnected to be powered by an external source?

I have tried the Dim button for 5 seconds then Bass+ then Bass- which was recommended numerous times with no luck. Can this problem be fixed or repaired? It's a brand new unit that we have had for a year and a half because we just finished the basement

@@tomgreyskthe right detachable speaker is not getting paired with the soundbar. White light blinks slowly on it. This happened since I accidentally dropped it. Do you know how I can fix that. The left one is working perfectly fine tho. Plz help
@@jokerplpl I tried everything including resetting the SB and even updating it to the latest firmware which is FW17.07 but nothing working. Then, I contacted the service center and they sent a technician. The guy said that it can’t be repaired and it has to be replaced. They have ordered a replacement satellite speaker for me and I am still waiting to receive it.
