Thanks Mate, you saved me from having to buy new ear buds. Mine didn't require soldering though, it was the white ribbon wires on top. Pull up the little black clip on the end of the female connector box, slide the ribbon wires back in and clamp down the little plastic black clip.
I have the same device, but a different isue. One earphone is much quiter than the other, I think one speaker turned of. Do you have any idea how to fix that?
I have the same model and had charging issues. I opened it and the white ribbon cable was disconnected on the USB-C PCB. Only used it for about one month. To reconnect the cable, make sure to open the black clip of the plug (lift the black clip from opposed of the cable connection, really the opposite not between the white and black plastic part, until it is 90° open. it's a hinge basically). Worked perfectly again.
