it doesnt take a lot of JBL knowledge to even know that your model really does impact the sound.. they dont sound the same PL has really weak passive radiators and GG just has slightly weaker speakers but will sound better
Hi, please tell me which version of jbl xtreme 2 has, it's harder to open the plug that closes the connectors. Where to slaughter and so on. I want to know which version the stub is harder to open from gg or pl.
hey which is way better gg or ti or pl or tl or something ppl keep saying thos and conparing them so idk which is better i got a boombox idk if its gg or pl or something.
I got a PL version as the Harman house only had the PL verison and according them they recommended me buying the PL in xtreme 2 category so I say I'm happy. :)
😂 I bought 2 to pair them together and man o man does it sound good!!! but I can say that they sound exactly the same because I happen to have one of each! When doing a test and not looking at which one is playing I had my girlfriendturn the volume up on each and you literally cannot tell a difference at all. I was listening for differences for about 3 hours. if you think one sounds different than the other or one sounds better than the other it is a placebo effect. They are exactly the same sound
I love my JVCs but I have been wanting a nice bluetooth speaker for a while lol. I think I am going to pick the xtreme 2 up sometime soon. I know the 3 is out but I'll be honest.. not much is different and it looks ugly lol. xtreme 2 is better in my opinion and probably much cheaper rn :p
me crying in background cuz my jbl won't turn on after getting water inside of the speaker,i saw water on battery after teardown and water on motherboard and now is turning on just with a charger but for 5 seconds then is off. What should i dooo??😢
Late comment, It has to do with the specific factories they're built in. The PL drivers seem a very slight bit smaller, have a convex dust cap, and their cones are made of paper. The GG drivers seem a little bit bigger, have concave dust caps, and have plastic cones. The PL is related to the TL model of other JBL speakers in that it uses paper driver cones, this does make it sound a tiny bit better in overall frequency response and clarity. However it sacrifices a small bit of the speaker's ruggedness in that you shouldn't soak the PL model like you would the GG model. Not that it would kill it right away, it's still ipx rated and can withstand splashes and being dropped in water for a short time. It's just that there's more risk involved in dunking the PL in water vs dunking the GG
