Thanks man. Seems it's a matter of what look you are going for. That's awesome that you smudged the ink, and explained the con of bringing it to the h.press. I have a flash sitting in a box. I really don't wanna set it up if I don't have too, lol

Can you cure two, three or even four shirts at a time using the heat press with teflon sheets between each shirt? Theoretically I think it may work and save time and energy. Hoping to try it as soon as I get my heat press. Can you try it and put out a video with the results? Thanks.

If I don't have a flash dryer, is it the same as putting it under a heat press without pressing it down from a swing away press?
@jbmdesignco.693
@jbmdesignco.693 3 года назад
Yes and no. It could work, but with clam shell heat presses... the heat would not be direct on the garment. The garment would have to be close to the heating element to be sure the ink is curing evenly.

@@jbmdesignco.693 it's a swing away heat press so it'll be hovering above the garments

good comparison between, could you tell me which is better Heat press or flash dryer ? which one should I buy ?

A flash dryer is needed when you print multiple colors, but I like curing my ink with heat press better. Think print is softer to the touch and looks better.

What is you order minimum for a 2 color & white base?
@jbmdesignco.693
@jbmdesignco.693 3 года назад
Depending on the design, I have printed minimums as low as 12 pieces. Since that is still low, I decide whether I want to bother with screen printing or vinyl.

I use the Heat Press Nation Signature Series with auto-open and slide out drawer.
