Let’s break the science down. Jc has THE MOST FEARSOME pen in battle rap history, mainly because he’s tooooo fucking consistent, for anyone that comes to him. He never slacks or chokes. But because he sssooooooo good, it hinders him. He is in an era that is money driven not culture driven so that’s why he always at the negative end of it. Surf took him in a place that could push his brand, not his pen. We all seen that Surf manipulated his way to a battle that would make him LOOK better not BE Better. We all would be in denial if we said surf pen was higher than JC’s. Same with Verb, Lux, etc. they all ducked him to protect the brand they have. Lux would really shift the culture if he batted JC because now that means that everyone, and I MEAN EVERYONE will have to step their pen up. Meaning ppl will have to work harder to get the cheese from battles. The gate keeping has to stop. Verb should also Battle JC as well, because, in his recent spaces, he said, paraphrasing that “this is how you keep the culture going” essentially saying to some degree that ppl should click up. But let’s apply that to just getting in the ring. Verb is my Top 5 without hesitation, he’s always the first to say I’m a warrior, I’m a fighter, but he gotta lace his boots up against JC, open that door up and let JC get his wind beneath his feet. He deserves to be Top Tier.

He was on a winning streak before he beat Head ice, Swamp, and Fonz. Those aren't push overs in battle rap 😂 those wins mean nothing? He took Surf immediately after the tournament. He was supposed to get Lux after the tournament but ig they wanted him to beat Surf for the Lux battle
