I hate to say things are just bad without pointing to an actual reason. Thought about it for a while and I think the main problem is 45th's energy was _flat_ throughout his round. JC goes from aggressive, to conversational, to comical, to philosophical with his delivery. He regularly ticks 2 or more of these boxes _per line,_ making for a dynamic and engaging performance; 45th maintained a constant mildly aggressive energy so his round seemed lifeless and long-winded, despite having some passable material

The audio just wasn't very good either. Not sure they put money back into this or what but the same ol graphics and sounds for years and that theme song has been running for years tune for something new.

45th FOKUZ penmanship is fire but he needs to add more character to his delivery the aggressive focus at the end of every bar is too repetitive and detracts from the layered setup. "THATS" where he needs to add character not just aggressive loud projection. Make the delivery colorful and interesting, fluctuate your pitch and tone and your material will be 100% more effective. These days you gotta do more than just bark on an opponent. "I put Blood and Bigen on Butters...Mutha Fucka" that was so fire JC had to try to hold his smile, but it could have had so much more life put into it and the two lines before it, think of Surf, Jerry Wess, Twork, or J the NW saying it.
Nah I listened for 45th, bro had delivery & conviction. The 4 bar set ups hurt because the punches fell immensely flat 😔 Hope to see him try a less unorthodox approach and quicker cadence changes
