Tell you what George, this demonstrates perfectly how far we've come since the 60s. Cutting with a reaper with a 6ft cut at ??3mph. Then turning with a 6ft rake. Then baling with a small baler. I'm sure you get the gist of it.
Very true, a lot of those mowers go over the top of meadow /natural grass fields, even if the toplink is real short, put every sales video there cutting lovely tall grass and make it like a bowling green.
I bet you had a very satisfying time there George - the equipment sure looked good, hopefully for Oliver’s sake there was more people in attendance than your excellent video indicated?
Is that a john deere greenstar guidance system on the mower tractor, if so, is jcbs designed to plug right up with greenstar systems or does it have to be jimmy rigged like on case tractors
nice to see the jcb and mc hale field day,my little daughter see lovely the jcb loader. on 27.08 is the fendt day with new fendt 942 in next near to rostock stefan from youtube canal landtechnik filmed the fendt day
I wonder? Is the Mc Hale a partner or sub-company of JCB. Because looking here they have only those two companies machines working on this show! When normally you see a mixed amount of companies impairments in a show of new machines even if the tractors are all one make..
@@GeorgeSaunders Thanks George, nice to know these details? Great video as per normal. I agree with you, the Fusion 3 is a very compact bale/wrapper machine. Good they using less plastic wrap now! They should really try to cut down waste and this helps you farmers too with lass need to keep removing lots of plastic from used wrapped bales! Shame JCB don't do a baler/wrapper I am sure JCB fans would love it?
At the moment not much as a lot are having problems finding recycling markets for it but I believe when it was originally invented it was designed to go to the incinerator in order to generate electricity.
