A quick video about the upcoming ploughing match here is the link. Saturday 27th of October, Long Furlong Farm near Daventry NN11 6LW / 264689690822446
Nice video George. I've been quite busy past few months and have a lot of catching up to do on your videos. Realy like the cabride videos you make. So keep up the good work, seems I got plenty of your videos to watch ;)
Great vid George, ploughing looks very good, Saturdays event is to far away for me, but looking forward to the videos that you will no doubt produce. Keep up the excellent work that you do - which is highly enjoyable and most informative!
Hello George. Thanks for another upload can’t wait for the new farming sim maybe get to use your tractor in game .thanks for always making good content
Would love to come George, just a bit too far nowadays. I'm a bit mad with myself for last Sunday. Dan, who brought me the Lister said there's a ploughing do at Worlaby. Well I should have asked as Lincolnshire has several duplicate place names, and I went to the wrong one. Paul put my right yesterday. Add insult to injury I went there last year. Hey Ho......have a great day on Saturday 😊
I literally wish I could go but it’s simply too far I come from Norwich and on Friday I’ve got to go from Worcester and back so it’s too much traveling really maybe another one will pop up a bit closer amazing vid tho ☝️👍
Hi George, have to say i think you made a good choice on the disco, seen the new models and they are butt ugly, cousin of mine has one on an estate and its been in the garage for heaps of warrenty work, clutch, complete brake rebuild and a host of other issues, only 20 odd thou on the clock
Good vid George if you look at my channel you can see what I have recently been doing with a old ford 1000 doing a bit of rolling good old bit of kit but keep on going my friend
Hi Matt, we do Indeed do min till and direct drilling, as we are contractors we have to be able to provide whatever system our customers wish to use, some prefer ploughing others prefer min or no till.
was just wandering i am from USA and find seeing what other farms do around the world find it rather neat also do you do any soybeans or corn in your area or are you in one them areas like we have here that wheat and barely are the staple crops
Hi Matt, there was an 8 furrow semi mounted on a TW25 at the Suffolk ploughing day which is fine when you are only ploughing light ground, but in heavy ground I have used a 6 furrow dowdeswell dp7e and that was as much as the tractor wanted.
Morning Jack, I tend to plough up to the hedge as normal but I do slow right down in case the plough hooks a root when I'm going past a big tree. Normally if the tractor is at low revs a big root will stop the tractor rather than break a shear bolt.
