Many many thank's for you answer. The Dobro parts (on the LP) are surprising nicely as all "regular slide dobro" parts. Best wishes to you from France. I inform immediately hundred of five hundred J.D. CROWE fans in Europe. I'm CMA (Nashville) member and the great recordings by J.D. are not only appreciated by bluegrass music lovers but equally by country music fans (in Europe). Jo
1000 thanks for this upload ! Between ALL my LP'S collection, THIS LP IS MY FAVORITE ALBUM ! Rounder has never released this nice LP on CD. Best wishes from France. RIP Bobby Slone. Jo Luttringer
Many thank's for your answer. After search on Google, RU-vid...Jim plays not only nice steel guitar and great dobro but also saxophone. Since 1952 (age of 8, I learn diatonic accordeon) and during my life as musician -1959 and still- the only instrument a can never play was "the sax family -clarinet, soprano sax, alto, tenor, baryton-" I used (bad) all other instruments (fretted neck family, slide & valve trombone, trompet, tuba, string bass, piano...on slide only dobro. Best wishes. Jo
Great album, I've always loved this song, the title track, and The Hurtin' When You Go particularly: any chance that any of you computer savvy people can upload the latter? Thank you so much.
