These guys really have a very good sound!! Jimmy Sutton's bass playing really drives it along!!

These guys came fairly close to blowing the rest of the lineup (Pokey LaFarge, CMA Song of the Year winner Larry Cordle, Country Music Hall of Famer Connie Smith and Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer Wanda Jackson) out of the water at tonight's Mountain Stage taping at Bristol's Paramount Theatre! Listen for it the 1st weekend in November on National Public Radio.

Discovered this band by chance whilst listening to Radio2, we are exposed to so much dross nowadays that it's great to be reminded what live music should be about. Put a bloody big grin on my face, love it. Gonna watch for British tour dates.

I saw this guy live last week and it was incredible! I have the cd and really like it, but JD is one of those rare musicians who are better live than on a recording. If you've never seen him live, do yourself a favor and GO if you get the chance!
