I'm the publisher for the song "Your Lovie (Is All That I'm Missing). (Allied Sound Productions - ASCAP), but unintentionally sold Joey Simeone the mechanical rights - so all I get is the publisher's share of the airplay/performance. Joey got all the income from J D's cover of the Bellfuries song. It first appeared on my record label: "Just Plain Lonesome" The Bellfuries, ASP 301 (2001) There were only 3000 cds manufactured, so they're fairly scarce. Joey reissued the CD in stereo (the original was in mono on purpose) and included a bunch of additional tracks in 2011. My oldest son, Josh Williams, was the Bellfuries first bassist (1998-2002). J. D was a fan of the Bellfuries, but was not going by "J D". J D was living on Oklahoma and attended the Bellfuries shows and hung out with them some. Josh was on tour in Florida earlier this year (playing bass for Lindsay Beaver) when they opened a show for JD. Josh had no idea he knew JD - since Josh knew him by the other first name - until JD came on stage. Josh called me after the show and told me the story - it was pretty funny. Anyway, Josh and JD, and the other band members all had good time afterwards...and I still wish I hadn't sold the mechanical rights!
