He, much like many, were very doubtful of a reality tv star billionaire running for office. Then, 2017 (first year of Trump’s term), Vance was already saying he was conflicted with Trump because his policies were quite agreeable. By 2018, he was already praising Trump’s policies. This is 3-4 years before he even ran for office. Pride and Prejudice, first impressions. Things change once you get to know someone.
