Walz is actually a great choice - very likable & genuine. Trump gave huge tax cuts to the wealthiest, which increased the deficit at unprecedented rates. The economy was growing at greater rates, and crime was lower both under Obama and under Biden. The economy had slowed under Trump even before the pandemic when it tanked. More people died in the US than in any other country due to Trump's poor pandemic response. Trump gave huge tax cuts to the wealthiest, which increased the deficit at unprecedented rates. Inflation was largely pandemic related, and under Biden / Harris the US lowered inflation in record time - with a pandemic recovery among the best of any nation. Biden did enact an executive order to further reduce border crossings - but it was not the more extensive bipartisan solution that had been agreed on. Yes, some people are still struggling. The pandemic caused major losses, and in spite of Biden / Harris administrations herculean efforts, and major successes, there is still work to be done. But we are in far better shape than during the Trump administration. The House has been counterproductive since it came under Republican control - do we really want more extreme MAGA lies, chaos and obstruction?

J.D., I was approached in the parking lot of the store today by a girl begging us to help her. She had no money for food and no where to stay. I gave her what cash I had.
