I like watching the powder. It’s just as interesting to me. Do what keeps you healthy. I’ve been wetting the molds with water then pouring. Seems to help like alcohol in resin. 🤷‍♀️

Consult a dermatologist and a pulmonary care provider. Make your resin room a "clean room "like they do in labs. Keep your PPE in a different room, and don't go into the resin area until you are suitable prepared. Tape up your cuffs to seal any air from getting inside your gloves as they are not skin tight, especially with the cotton gloves inside. We all care about your health and want you to be able to do your art for as long as it brings you happiness.

With Resincrete you should add the powder to the water, not the water to the powder, which should help withe the lumps. Something to try next time!

There ia an artist that uses a zip up white coverup suit. It is long sleeved. She uses an activated charcoal filter air purifier in her craft room as well. She also uses a skin barrier cream on her arms and hands. She has a resin allergy. I do not remember her name. She also never touches cured resin with bare hands. Also Glitz and Glitter (Michelle) has a UV RESIN ALLERGY. Maybe check with her and see what she does.

Mica powders dont stick to resin cretes or mix to molds. Itll eventually rub all the way off.

Do you use a respirator when you use your mica powders? Those can get into your lungs and cause problems. Hope you figure it out.

I'm wondering if you have an allergy to the alcohol as this is extremely drying on skin and can affect eyes etc. Maybe when you are doing clean up use your respirator gloves and see how you go.

Have you checked with a pulmonologist about your cough? I have allergies but it turned out to be I am allergic to the resin even with a full face mask, gloves etc
