My family is from St Lucia - I was supposed to be there this year and stay at Jade Mountain - but then the world went nuts. Hopefully I can still do this when things get back to normal.
I heard of this place a few years ago, saw some nice pictures too, but the tour u did is even better, makes me wanna just book my flight n u know what 😂🤣😅
I visited the property many years ago but l could not afford to stay there. Hopefully one day l will have enough in order to afford this luxury resort.
Simply marvelous review. This place has been on my bucket list for years. I hear they upgrade people quite often. Even from Anse Chastanet. I also heard to get as high (in elevation😁) as possible, because the bugs are less bothersome.
Upgrades are possible but all depends on availability. Either way, all the rooms are magnificent! With regards to the bugs, didn't have an issue but do recall that room had a bottle of insect repellent so there if needed. Bed in under a mosquito net.
@@Caribbeanandco Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die". BUT, mercy said "I dont want to give them what they deserve. I don't want them to be cut off from Me. I love them despite all they have done/will do against Me. I want to give My children another chance. I want them to come home and live in My love again". And love said "Jesus, God's Son, came down as a Man, our representative, suffering every temptation, pain and struggle we have ever faced, yet without sin. He took all our sins (past/present/ even future) to the cross and then crucified EVERY ONE on our behalf. Justice was paid on the cross so that we can be free from Hell's punishment, experience Gods mercy of forgiveness of sin and live in His love. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (turn away from our sin and pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through Him (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to obey His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and ask Him to help us in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. Xx if you have any questions let me know xx
id love to see the rooms modernized a little bit. not much, you still want it to have that vibe but it could use some upgrades. I wonder f the lay out of the resort makes it harder to do
I was just looking at this and was going to book it for my wife and I honeymoon we never got when we got married. I was under the impression it was going to be about 3k and some change for duration of the stay. Nope! It was 3k and some change a NIGHT!!!! Nope…..
I'M gonna stay there for one weekend cause that's all i can afford at $1000 a night, but on a brighter note i stayed at ladera resort which is quite similar but not as expensive. great video.
You are correct, the room doesn't have an air conditioning unit since one wall is open. That said, didn't feel hot but if I was, perfect way to cool down would be to take a dip in private infinity pool.
@@dreamboy2053 you’re weird for wanting to harm those birds. That’s the entire concept of the hotel… get a grip. It’s supposed to be an experience. If you don’t like it, find a sandals
Jade Mountain is perfect for a honeymoon so you won't be disappointed. As for pricing, it depends on what time of year you plan to visit, so best to check their website and get in touch with them directly. They continually have different offers! See my article for more information. www.caribbeanandco.com/hotel-review-jade-mountain-resort-st-lucia/
It shouldn't but the only way to know for sure is to get in touch with the hotel direct and confirm the pricing based on when and length of stay! www.caribbeanandco.com/hotel-review-jade-mountain-resort-st-lucia/
Great video. My wife and I are debating on Jade Mt. for our honeymoon next year (delayed for COVID). However, she is afraid of heights. Do you envision this being an issue in the room and the walkways?
Thank you for the compliment with the video. As for heights, I also sometimes suffer from acrophobia but didn't experience that at all while I was at Jade Mountain. So go for it! 😍
Like all hotels, they have deals/offers depending on the time of the year. So get in touch with them direct. www.caribbeanandco.com/hotel-review-jade-mountain-resort-st-lucia/
They have got a helipad about a 5-minute drive from the resort, and use for transferring people to/from the airport. Whether it is used for excursions to Saint Vincent, not sure but you can ask. Failing that, they could perhaps arrange for you to sail across.
Alva Singh I wouldn’t be able to enjoy if the memories I’m making is the employees coming to my room telling my partner and I that we are making other guests uncomfortable.. lol
There is a glass wall at the edge of the pool and you can get right up next to it. This is a picture of me resting against it and looking out: instagram.com/p/BrQQK8dg_k7/ As for depth, don't remember the exact measurements, but it is not too deep as I could stand up in most of it without having to swim/paddle.
@@Caribbeanandco I've been to Thailand and Phillipines. And based on reviews, vlogs etc. they look very similar and perhaps even better than Jade Mountain.
Yes. It was very difficult to leave and I often close my eyes and imagine myself back in the Sanctuary relaxing in the pool, munching on food, and taking in this amazing view.
Beware the darkness of dragons, Beware the stalker of dreams, Beware the talons of power and fire, Beware one who is not what she seems. Something is coming to shake the earth, Something is coming to scorch the ground. Jade Mountain will fall beneath thunder and ice Unless the lost city of night can be found.
I like the view but the decor is a definite "NO". The room layout is also a definite "NO". Why did they not make the toilet private? This is ridiculous. I would definitely NOT go there with my partner.
