If they weren't, Harry wouldn't tell that, he would be sad, he wouldn't laugh or make jokes about this, because he would suffer too much. So ... we are good ... If they were or still are in a relationship (which there is no proof whatsoever of) and they don’t talk of it then nor should you guys. If they have never had these feelings and their current relationships are legit then you are also trivialise these women in said relationships because you are downplaying the love & affection they have with Harry & Louis.
It really doesn’t matter which larry parts are factual and which are imagined by the fandom because Harry Styles intentionally out-larries any larry as he is fully fluent in the fandom lore and doesn’t bother correcting the mistakes. He just runs with fanfic and the memes. So whether fictional or not (dude, they’re definitely together in my book), as a cultural phenomenon, larry is real because no one feeds and nurtures it more than H&L on stage in front of all our salads. At this point, who cares about facts. On stage, hot Luke is definitely a fact.

Why is Louis tagged in this? This s&$t is so old. When will you guys that do this realise that this isn’t ok? Both Harry and Louis are in committed relationships and Louis even has a child. Forcing a gay relationship on them that according to both of them actually ruined their friendship has already caused enough damage but you guys persist. Secondly being gay & coming out is an exceptionally hard thing for a lot of people, you guys trivialise it & make a joke of it. If they did in fact have a relationship & all these years later neither has spoken of it to confirm then it’s not up to you all to keep pushing this agenda.
