@@bluefaygox23considering the number of times Sinister messed with eith Scott, Jean or both of them in the original series and beyond, you'd think he would have understood the lesson by now
If the comics weren't so hellbent on Op flanderizing him (clones of himself and all), having Phoenix end him would be the perfect death and send a message to Apocalypse to stop trying
@@sophiawilson8696 I was disappointed because they told there’s going to be epic space fights but was cancelled due to capt marvel. Also, Phoenix didn’t even show up it was all flame covering Jean’s body. No manifestation of the bird unlike in Xmen Apocalypse.
I'm confused. He literally said Jean wasn't his Mom during one of the other episodes, since it was Jean's clone Madelyn Prior, but now Jean's his mom too?
@@rubyred6169 jean moraly is his stepmom, and we know that a stepmom or a stepdad can be as much as a parent as a biological one. Despite the fact that Jean has all the pregnacy memorys too and they share almost the same DNA. They have a bond, and dispite the love they share, jean anso loves him for Maddy. Cable said jean wasnt her mother in a moment of anger/hurt. Its a very sad and complex situation
Are all Marvel's 90's cartoons in continuity with this or just X-Men the Animated Series and Spider-Man The Animated Series? If it's just those 2, I'm sorry to tell you that 94's Iron Man The Animated Series might not be canon; therefore, he has no mullet. Then again, he probably wouldn't have a mullet anyways since I think he didn't have one in Spider-Man the Animated Series.
Plus how all the powers demonstrated were the blue telekinetic energy that the normal Jean uses, instead of red fire. Probably to show that Jean = Phoenix
2:10 In the comics, Sinister was transformed by Apocalypse. In X-Men The Animated Series, he transformed himself with the stolen mutant DNA he implanted into his body.
Cable finally acknowledging Jean as his mom before she stepped out unleashing the Phoenix defeating Sinister. Pretty freaking epic!!! Note: I know that Madelyn is Cable's real mom and she was the one who gave birth. Even though she's an exact copy of Jean by blood and memory, I still consider Jean as Cable's mom, In My Honest Opinion
@@johans3164 if Sinister impress Apocalypse perhaps he'll recruit him as one of the Horseman of Death, also Gambit is coming back but as part of the Horseman of Death.
Mr Sinister getting owned by Bastion, and later, Jean Grey is such poetic karma . °First off given how Sinister's often been manipulating people throughout , to see him get out manuvered by someone equally malevolent and manipulative as him , and to genuinely be shocked by the outcome is hilarious. ° Given how Sinister had an obsession with Jean Grey and Scott Summers , and how he performed experiments on Jean Grey - including cloning her , to see Jean Grey strip him of his altered dna and reduce him to a pathetic old husk is the ultimate humiliation for the social darwinst .
Surprised Sinister didn’t crumble into dust like Rasputin in the Anastasia movie. But the way he begged and ran away was pretty funny. He’ll find away to get his DNA back. The comics have essentially made Sinister unkillable
The Phoenix is never truly gone. Jean is the corporal manifestation of the Phoenix force. It may leave her but it is never gone. Otherwise there would be no life. Here Phoenix was allowing Jean to draw from a fraction of its power. But in the comics Jean has been seen to forcefully make the Phoenix resurrect her and stuff like that.
Actually Jean is the begining of The Phoenix, she is the mother of The Phoenix and The Phoenix it self. It is weird but it has stated in the last comics published the last week.
@@Elduro857 recently ? I haven’t read anything VERY recently but it was pretty recent I believe from multiple interactions with Jean 616 and her Phoenix. Do you know which series you’re talking about ? I would like to see it just for curiosity
Phoenix finally put an end to the seemingly endless threat of Mister Sinister in epic and convincing fashion Was so hilarious to see Mister Sinister go “ughhh 😫😫”
2:37 sinister still thought morph was on his leash but morph decided to get his subtle revenge and it made me laugh when he said “looks the same to me” the morph comedic tone and everything
After all the awful experiments me did to mutants since Victorian times, including poor Morph and Jean, Sinister got what he deserved as a powerless and frail old man
Is there anything more satisfying than seeing a sociopathic monster beg for the mercy he never showed anyone else? The moments where revenge and justice overlap are some of the best storytelling.
It's like history repeating itself. Jean Grey becomes the phoenix force and then ends up in the bottom of the lake. Nice. I hope spider-man will finally find Mary Jane .
@@anthonyroberts7486storm and Jean may be omega. But Pheonix is universal, bastion is lucky this is just a fraction of the Pheonix’s power bonded with Jean and it’s taking off other affairs across the galaxy
Through all the pain and suffering that Bastion and Mister Sinister cause though out the show. Serves them right that they got that they had their immortality and army stopped.
Sinister: "Please,no!" Me: "How many of your victims made the same plead?" *scowls immensely* Me: "And how many of them did you spared?" *Sinister's pain intensifies* "That's right, NONE. So, just like them, mercy? You shall receive NONE!"
What I love about the "neutral" phoenix force is how selective its work is. It should have enough power to erase virtually all those threatening it, but doesn't do that here. Instead, it chooses very specific solutions, undoing only what is no longer necessary. There's such beauty to an unimaginably powerful entity making carefully considered choices. Great power and even greater responsibility.
Sinister's reaction was priceless. It's a meme. He is a narcissist and he met the worst fate for his type of person. But I don't love Jean tapping to Phoenix Force again.
