Jean-Marc Vallée had a certain style to his films that you would know it was his when you watched it. From the amazing Young Victoria to the Dallas Buyers Club to Wild to Demolition, he captured cinema in a unique way through his editing and cinematography and always getting a phenomenal performance to boot. I am sad he suddenly lost his life, but I am glad we get to remember him through his work. RIP Jean-Marc Vallée!!

Jean-Marc Vallee seems like a person you wish you could have met at least once. I loved his work on Big Little Lies and Wild. I'm actually crying over his death. Strange the people you cry over and the people you don't, and I never even met him. May he rest in peace.

Ava was def right, AGAIN! Imagine the news? "Ava DuVernay says she won't work before 9am". That would be POLEMIC, she WOULD be seen as a total diva... That's the difference, boys... it's in those little situations.... Btw, LOVE Jean Marc! Sharp Objects was fucking amazing, Amy Adams and Eliza Scanlen for the emmys!!!

I usually don't like hearing Zeppelin (my absolute favorite band) in media, because they are poorly used, and I almost feel like it cheapens the legacy of the band. But it really worked in Sharp Objects.

Big Little Lies never should have been put in the hands of Andrea Arnold. Jean Marc Vallee created the style of the show, and Andrea completely threw it out the window!
