Thank you, thank you, thank you! I cannot tell you how timely this thoroughly, thoroughly informative video was. (If I could jump through my laptop and give you a hug, I would.) I was looking for a source that both listed and explained Le Male's sweet notes. This is my favorite higher-end cologne: its scent is transporting. And I 100% agree with another commenter: to me Le Male has always smelled like Pepsi or a sweet Coca-Cola. I just love it. (My lower-end go-to cologne is Stetson Original. Lol.)

0:49 But almost Le Male isn’t a sweet a fragrance by the way. It’s a fougere, fresh spicy, and aromatic at the same time. It got that hint of sweetness and amber at the base only.
I have both of these and I get about 4-5 hrs out of Gold and 7-8 from lemale. I don't spray on my skin , clothes only , mich better performance that way. Thx for the review. Ill sub.
Well done. Very good notes breakdown and review. I really like Le male, it has sweet barbershop vibe. It’s a masterpiece. Jean Paul Gultier also released Le Parfum version and they added spicy notes (cardamom) and Iris to the original DNA.

Nice to see back again. I own le male, ultra male, and popeye (eau friache) . All of them are worth every penny. One for day wear, the other for a night out, and eau fraiche, for the gym, or just t shirt and jeans. Supers review, one of the best I’ve seen. Take care
Hey, I’m interested in buying the original le mâle. I remember spraying it on a few years back when I was a couple years younger than I am now (I’m 19) and I remembered liking it a lot. I didn’t like Ultra Male because it was way too sweet. I liked in the navy and Le essence but didn’t think they were bottle worthy. I currently own sweet fragrances of Versace Eros and The One. The one is my favorite and Eros I got just to use for parties and when I’m trying to call for attention. I do like the scent of eros but it can be really cloying to me sometimes bc of the sweetness. I’m thinking on blind buying this, do you think it’s blind buy worthy?
Mike Capalungan I think you should buy the original le male. It should be a staple on most men’s rotations. In my opinion it is a more mature scent than Eros. I love ultra male, but le male is more versatile, and easier to wear.

Great review..i got this..and not a fan of it...i thought it was ULTRA MALE...lol..i got the wrong one...but to me this smells like Pepsi or Coke...lol..

I think both of those have vanilla in their flavor structure, so I can see that.
