For educational purposes, the instructions are relatively vague for the card turning subtest. We are learning to start the card flipping from the client's extreme right or left, making the client cross midline. Is anyone else testing in this variation for the card flipping subtest, or should it be from the therapist's extreme right/extreme left?
One more question, is there any specific reason why we should start with non-dominant hand first because i did not find it in any journal for that reason.
Question: Does anyone know what the procedure is if a patient drops an item during the test? I had a patient drop a paperclip on the floor and I am unsure what the "correct" thing to do is...thanks!
Hello. I do not specifically recall, however the test is quite specific in its instructions and provides the details for each recorded item, including time considerations. Hope this helps.
so for the mean time basically i have to add all time taken for each subtest and then divide by 7 for non-dominant hand and also dominant hand right? Thanks jennifer
