This was electric. Christopher Morel's Homer last year was a bit louder, but I was in the upper deck for that one. Plus the crowd was already buzzing. This was so special to be a part of. I keep building my list of great moments in Cubs history that I've witnessed. I love living in the city.
The best part about this for the players is not only are they getting to go and show out playing baseball. But it also shows how loud the fanbase is and how much fans love the cubs
@@brianhunter4860 i mean where u gonna put him. Suzuki Happ Bellinger Wisdom take up the three outfield and dh spots, and I wouldn't put him in front of any of those guys
I've been a Cubs fan for 60 years that was great to see them win the World Series the thing about this team that I like already that I watched in a few games that I've had is that they can score runs without hitting homers which is what you need to do in the playoffs and the World Series to win
63 years for me. I completely agree with you. During the past few years I've made several comments on social media Cubs fans groups that addressed this very thing. They need to quit thinking that they need to swing for the fences in every at bat. Just get on base. Play small ball. Keep doing the that and the runs will come. Just get up to the plate thinking to not make an out instead of needing a heroic stat. The other thing is that the relief pitchers need to quit putting more pressure on themselves than the situation calls for. Relax and do what you do best.
Hey ya never know, every now and then sometimes these athletic swing-at-everything dudes figure it out and turn into Edwin Encarnacion or Teoscar Hernandez. His stance and swing kinda look like Carlos Lee, he was pretty good! I love how Jed laughs the hardest about his own run differential joke. Because of course thats a GM sense of humor.
He wasn't very sharp. He did look pretty good in some spots and the umpire really wasn't helping. Hopefully it's just the early season yips since he made open day roster and he's young. I really like wesnasty and he's got great stuff. Hoping for the best off his next start.
my son can't watch his hometeam the Cubs in his own city of Chicago because we need to buy a channel, that's just wrong in every way this is baseball guys, how greedy are you?
