I rarely comment on shit but I just wanted to tell you I appreciate your runs of this game so much. It's a childhood favorite that I have played countless times and still do, every now and then. And it's great to watch you continue to just absolute tear it to shreds. Bravo. Keep up the great work!
Imagine being the guys at 24:45. You see a yellow light appear from the distant hallway. You hear the distinct sound of a lightsaber. Then, a blur appears. You barely have time to ignite your lightsabers... and it is already past you. I'd probably run as far away from Jaden Korr as I can.
This is amazing. I grew up with this game and have beat it hundreds of times. I really wanna learn how to do this it looks like a whole new level of awesome
I got a lot of comments but im gonna compile them into one starting off with: I laughed more than I should have just cause of the animations and goofy physics. If there's anyone who is stronger than Luke Skywalker it'd be this guy. If I wanted to reminisce my childhood and the hundreds of hours playing this game over lunch break then I'd watch this video. Imagine being a stormtrooper and then seeing this Jedi just fly passed you at speeds that make you think he's high on the force to do. I mean literally not all enemies are triggered, some of them probably just felt a gust of wind and then nothing, so they probably have no idea whats happening! If there's one thing I wish to know is how you 1 shot the boss in Hoth. Literally how. I wonder how youre gonna speedrun the level thats all about being fast on a spacebike though, and now I know. Okay, how did you make the rapid fire on the E-11 so accurate?? Imagine being Kyle with Jaden in Vjun and all he does is run so fast that he leaves all the enemies to you. YOU MAD MAN! YOU LEFT KYLE TO LIFT THAT ELECTRICAL ROD FOR ALL ETERNITY! YOU MONSTER! Talk about stabbing your friend behind the back LMAOOO Imagine being with Kyle in that Imperial cruiser, he leaves and then comes back 30 seconds later. What a chad. If you think about it the weapons of the Yalarans are fart guns. Its still really sad that all jedi and sith acolytes die right then and there leaving Kyle and Luke on step 1

@@calebmitchell7094 if you don't fight kyle you have to fight tavion 2 who spawns a bit farther away. Also the lightside Alora fight is really annoying without grip strats.
The force traiing should just have been learn force jump. And everyone would be asking "What?" just learn force jump trust me, the shit we'd have to deal with would take weeks otherwise.
SL skips a lot of really fun chains and unique skips, but the launch glitch itself is really fun. So it's hard to say which is better, but right now SL is more fun for me.
What is the purpose of throwing the thermal detonators in the rancor cage? Is it like the animation puts you through the wall so you can press the lever?
Hi, i love your speedrun, there is one thing i don't know how it works. In the rancor Mission you need to save 16 prisoners, and you killed a few of them, seems like you only save 4 and somehow it worked. How does it happen?
Great run for my childhood / teenage years ! I was wondering why did you choose the dark side ? If I remember correctly you only have 1 fight in the light side, because you don't have to fight Katarn. Maybe I'm wrong as I played that game a very long time ago.
You have 2 fights whichever side you choose (you technically have to fight Tavion twice on the light side); I suppose the dark side choice makes fights easier/shorter, but I'm not really sure
Why are you swinging all the time? i knew about the bunny hopping but the swinging has me curious, especially at the start. Is it to reset your jump earlier in the animation when there are different elevations?.
Basically the devs tried to fix bunny hopping by making it so when you hit the ground you lose half your speed. But thankfully there's a few different glitches you can use to get around this. Doing a saber spin animation is one, crouching while landing is another, and going from higher to lower ground is another.
Man, I have this game since 2003 or so, saw it being speedran at AGDQ or SDGQ, baffled how little I know the game, and now being sub 22 Do you think Sub 21 or 20 is possible with current route/strats? If performed without error, that is

in this game if you refresh your graphics settings while watching a cutscene the game lets you enter the cutscene. once inside the cutscene none of the npcs move at all
Basically if any entity takes damage during the stab animation, you will gain a huge amount of speed based on Jaden's distance to the 0, 0, 0 coordinate of the map. From what I've been told, this happens because the game loses the NPC's location, but I'm not completely sure why you get the huge speed boost.
You're probably referring to the crouch boosts I'm doing. Basically the devs of this game tried to fix bhopping in JKA by causing the player to lose half of their speed each time you land. This would effectively break all bhop chains in the game, BUT we've found 3 ways around this: elevation boosting (jumping from higher to lower ground), spin glitch (the fast style spins I do), and crouch jumping (crouching while jumping). Each of these glitches allows us to bypass the halved speed at each landing and build up speed during chains. The reason I swing diagonally during a crouch boost is that the game won't let Jaden crouch after hitting the ground in third person, because it makes him roll instead. But if I swing my saber at the same time I land, this cancels the roll and allows me to perform a crouch boost.
In this game fall damage is calculated based on your height the last time you were touching the ground and the next time you touch the ground. So it doesn't matter how high you go in between. Also other tricks like rolling and force protect mitigate a lot of damage
