@@KentuckyAk101guy oh that no attachment thing was bs anyway. So technically he CAN be a Jedi with attachments but the billion credit trick is HOW you deal with it
@@KentuckyAk101guy Man that's just bullshit Cal's his own Jedi with his own ideals and philosophies just like Luke is his own Jedi even when he doesn't follow the way of the Jedi from the Prequel era like you can be your own Jedi and have your own way of doing things.
@@sambingham1196 I mean, they aren't wrong. Most of Disney's recent SW content had been fairly mid. Mando season 3 especially was a let down. Not bad, but very, VERY average compared to its start.
just from these little post-game things alone Kata already sounds like a part of the group I look forwards to seeing how things go with her in the sequel
It’d be nice to play as Cal and Kata. Although Cal’s lightsaber color would be still blue for a Jedi Master. And Kata’s lightsaber color would be definitely green for a Jedi Padawan.
@@ericle5366 I thought of one scenario. Cal , Merrin and what ever allies they have at the time attack the emperor while he's touring a processing facility. Things go wrong and both get Carbonite frozen.
the thing that screws with my mind is when cal say to merrrin he cant go back to how things were and merrin says the same do they mean they cant go back to love eachother but still be friends or go back to being friends but still love eachother. if it makes sense
The vibe I got was that he can’t go back to them just being friends even though there is a lot going on and she then said neither can I there is a lot going on but we will figure it out together
@@DinoViking agreed I honestly think if she dies he will go to the dark side and probably not be able to come back After all she was probably the only reason he didn’t crush that imperial officer
Impressive that respawn looks to have written a child character as a child and not as a 17 year old in a small body. I think the only other child character to be just as close is Clem in season 1 of telltale the walking dead.
@@kiemugen9830 The kid was aware her father did bad things. I don't believe she necessarily agrees with him dying. But at the same time he didn't accept the ultimatum. Also no I'm not defending EA. Just trying to envision what she's going though and definitely is suffering inside but also knows their not bad people. Which oddly enough some kids can tell some cannot.
@@kiemugen9830 I imagine there will be issues in the 3rd game that will need to be resolved with Kata and the death of her father. Its a giant blinking neon sign saying 'potential plot. Write me.'
Unfortunately, there is a bug in the game that makes Caij stops giving you bounties. She gave me Kili Oso (one of the big ones), then three on Nova Garron but now she won't give me anyone else, even after finishing the main story. I'm stuck at 10/16 and unless the devs put out a patch to fix that bug I guess I won't get to see this scene in my playthrough. Even if they do, I don't know that I'll go back into it just for that. Especially if their fix only works if you have to start the game over again. Loved the story, but ready to do something else now. :)
Luke is going to be in the next game, him or Ahsoka. They have the three remaining Jedi texts we saw in Last Jedi, and someone has to give them to Luke.
Please not Luke, I really getting tired of the stupid OT nostalgia, Luke already have his arc, Disney botch it, and even if it is going to be in the next game, do it like Force Unleash, in the first one, in the Dark Side DLC you fight against him and turn him in the dark side, and in the second game, in the dark side ending, you end fighting Leia.
Luke is way too young, he doesnt even know what a Jedi is yet. And I doubt theyre going to skip like 10+ years into the post ROTJ era in the next game. Maybe Cal will travel to Ach-To and leave behind the scrolls for future Jedi to find, or he will hand them off to someone who Luke eventually meets, who knows.
@@zoid_on_youtube Or maybe not include the original characters at all, the only ones that care for them are the Original Star Wars fans, and they are a minority in the Fandom, outcast after all the toxic bullshit that they put the Fandom for twenty years, Luke would have been great rebuilding the Jedi Order, like in the games, and Leia in the Senate, but Disney throw that in the trash bin in favour of Rey.
@@sambingham1196I agree. Not to mention that her dad actually attacked her via breaking the bridge she was on, aimimg his blaster at her and Merrin when Merrin was clearly trying to save her from falling, and when he basically force threw her when she tried to stop him from choking Cal. She told Merrin that her mother's death affected her dad to the point that he completely changed. The gentle and loving father she once knew died with her mother and what was left was a monster that she was scared of. Cal and Merrin gave Kata a new family that she doesn't have to be afraid of. Kata knew her father was gone before Cal killed him. If or when there is a third installment of the Star Wars Jedi games, I would love to see Cal and Merrin take on a father and mother like role for Kata (Just like Kanan and Hera did for Ezra in Rebels)
