Caroline is becoming a great cinematographer. I loved the technique of having someone follow her as she explored the areas around the falls. with the lighting and angles it really came out fantastic. Keep up the great work, Caroline!! I am looking forward to seeing you working alongside the National Geographic great like Pedro McBride in your future.

Welcome to Vancouver Island. You should check out Hwy #28 from Campbell River to Gold River and then Tahsis. More beautiful scenery and trails than you can shake a stick at. Great video too by the way. Love it.

My kids are in their 30's and together we make traditional meals for their kids. I hope my grandkids pass it on to their kids. You're right Carol. Our kids are always kids in our heart. Got my husband a DJI drone for Christmas ~ sshhhh! Our first! I am in awe of your drone footage ~ great maneuvering (Pete?) between the cliff face and the trees (3:45). Can't say enough of the film footage in general ~ yes, you had drop dead gorgeous scenery but it does take an eye to bring it to the screen. And I especially liked the music in the latter half of the video ~ what was it? Thank you for sharing Carol's meal ~ always trying to find new meals to cook while camping. I never knew Vancouver Island was so wild ~ I had in my mind it was very populated but being 2000+ miles away, it's good to learn the true geography! We once met a mining crew in a mt meadow that was lifting mining equipment high into the CO Rockies with a helicopter ~ your experience reminded me of ours. Happy Overlanding!

Yup, you could just drink that water straight out of the river. That's the exact water that water bottle companies claim to be. We always top up our water bottles out of the rivers.... here in B.C. anyway

Again, amazing editing skills! You know, sometimes less is more and I think you have done it perfectly in this video. Some tranquil music, the sound of the Jeep’s going down a road and over obstacles and minimal talking. Not that I don’t enjoy the conversation but in this rendition, it was EPIC!!

Wow Vancouver Island sure has been awesome . ( Have sea kayaked around the Island and the coastal areas are beautiful ). I've said it on each Vancouver Island video...it gives me great pleasure seeing you enjoy and enthuse about my home turf. We have been at it here for 20+ years and haven't seen the half of it. Inland, half way between Woss and Gold River on the logging main that serves as the highway between those two towns lies Vernon Lake...put that on your list for next time.

Hi Peter I really enjoy watching the vids and obviously I no longer need to ask about what type of RT Tent is suitable for the Jeep. I loved the video... that water is gin clear. I remember my adventures on Vancouver in the late 80’s, fishing for chrome bright steelhead on the Gold River. The fish in the water were invisible, but proved abundant. I love Vancouver Island, and someday wish to relive the adventure... we slept in the back of my buddy’s truck, froze most of the night in the damp cold. Only until morning forced us back into our chest waders, and the fish again helped us forget our misery. Wonderful. When can your fans/subs rally with you? If just to meet you from across a shared campfire? Just an idea... maybe you could plan something?
