This was an awesome trip, Jeeps, jumps and rock crawling! King of the hammers 2023! Sit back and relax while you watch me break my jeep! Check out the instagram @mikes4x4garage !
@@mikes4x4garage I’m almost sure he shit his pants, I was there Friday night, but I didn’t get so see you in action, there was another xj with a white LED whip(short in my channel), but didn’t catch yours
Mine used to make that noise when the fan would hit the metal ac line by battery I believe, could’ve been motor mounts, fixed it with a zip tie haven’t heard it in years now
Nice job man! Making chocolate thunder is HUGE!! Good on ya. I hope to see you there one day! Been a long time goal of mine as well. See ya on the trails
Hell yeah keep the party going! Sick content. I must add that your rear driveshaft doesn’t look to have enough slip for compressed suspension. Keep the videos coming!!!
chocklet thunder was some crazy shit but you stayed cool and slayed it . your jeep is just bad ass as hell now. that was a fun video. You guys looked wore out. I have watched all of your videos and some of them several times. Does it help when I watch them more than once. This will be one i will watch again.thanks for taking us on the trip.
I’m jealous 🤦♂️ I was heading out the las weekend of king of hammers on my way home frm work to take off for the week I crash my motorcycle and had to sit this year out I had my xj all set up ready to climb I was so sad lol
Excelente video , hace muy poco te sigo y me gusta bastante el Jeep xj , tengo un Jeep zj y muchas ganas de hacerle modificaciones, saludos y sigue subiendo contenido como este 👍🏻✌🏻
How do you have about no slip showing at ride height on that rear shaft? I'd imagine it would bottom out but clearly you hit those whoops and the case isn't broken.
Yeah so the shaft used to be at the perfect length , then I added the shackle relocation brackets and it changed the setup. Probably why the Ujoints died so quickly. I just replaced the rear shaft with an Adam’s this week 👍🏻
@@mikes4x4garage I'm having to shorten my rear shaft after i just put a 231/300 doubler setup in my XJ so i've been messing with driveshafts a bit lately. I guessed 1/3 of the travel for up since i'm only setup for 3" of up travel and 9" down in the back.
Dude, cool content. Don't want to tell you how to build your stuff but if you keep running the truck with the front shocks contacting the axle, they will break. Those are expensive shocks, would hate to see you destroy them. A quick fix if you don't want to relocate them right away would be to extend your bump stops. You'll lose a little up travel but it will save your shocks. ✌️
It’s an off-road sway bar, it’s not supposed to be disconnected. the anti rock sway bar allows full flex in the front when there’s weight on it. Being so steep there wasn’t any pressure on the springs
Love watching the builds and adventures, but I hope you'll eventually remove the intro clip of takeovers.. 0:43 nobody likes that reckless stuff, and it's clearly an intersection :/
Whats your build... Mine is truss c gussets stock gears cromollys all new bearings and race teraflex ball joints Aussie locker ..... B4 the cromollys truss gussets id break shafts every time i went out .... That and I switch from 35x14.5x15 pit bulls to 35 x12.5X15 been to afraid to beat on it since you gave me hope thought I waisted a bunch of $
