Did you guys go the full 3” on the perches? And is that why you can’t mount the shocks? Considering doing this on my xj as well.

that is correct. im sure you COULD use stock shock mounts but it probably wouldnt work very well

Did you stay with stock front drive shaft or was it lengthened for the 3in stretch

the rear shaft is an adams shaft built for the stretch

Why do people stretch the wheelbase?

more stability, better departure angle if you stretch the rear, better approach if you stretch the front, more room for larger tires. those are the most common reasons
