Congratulations, it’s a head turner . I have Almost done 1.5 yrs now , no rattles , AC is perfect . Mileage in bumper city traffic is 6-7 kmpl you drive fast or slow . But if you are on open roads for 30 mins with speeds 80-100 , you get 11-12 mileage easily

I bought variant - limited just bcoz of the interior colours brown - white option. My earlier car had full black interiors & I wanted little airy feel inside .

I know right even I’m little sceptical about the all black interior...i like the white more but at the same time i wanr to go for the top end

Maintaining beige and white interiors in Indian conditions is extremely difficult.

@JEEPER Life Do you have any cooling issues from the HVAC ? In my test drive of petrol compass, I felt the AC underperform in cooling the cabin adequately even at the lowest temp and max fan speed. Any thoughts considering our Indian summer of 44⁰c ?

Just sold it .. moved to dubai . Would be buying a jeep Grand wagoneer . Car is very good .. but if you are only going to drive in city & slow speed , the mileage is a big problem . Check for service centre , if it’s close to you or not . Secondly they have reduced the price as well now & have got more option . Like sunroof in Longitude version as well . Go for diesel automatic 4x2 & love happy

Yes 🙌🏼 You can now only till 120kph . After then the car keeps beeping by default under BS6 norms

Sunroof is tinted by the factory itself . Yes any glass surface would need cleaning in Indian weather condition . A good cleaner daily would help

Can’t agree more . Only limited variant has 6 airbags . But even longitude is as safe as limited , you may go for it without a doubt . I many accident , the rear passenger have all been safe too

Remote engine start stop , is till not released in this JEEP life app. May be in future . This feature frankly speaking of very less used even by MG hector owners .

Never , I have been using it for past 8months . Either doors panel are loose or footboard ( inside is loose ) Also the tool kit could be rattling

If diesel : go for harrier . Service cost of JEEP : annually is below 15,000₹ Diesel manual would be great option , with good resale and mileage

Diesel has more torque . If you love diesel cars then opt for it . Petrol is slow mover below 2000rpm .

I would suggest u test drive both & decide . Also Petrol was my choice for many reason , since I drive less , less maintenance .

Automatic diesel is only available in 4x4 variant .

@@vikasshetty1987 pls read , I said they should introduce a base variant of auto transmission in diesel variant …. As of now it’s with 4x4 , so similarly it should even be introduced in a cheaper variant to pull harrier & crysta buyers

You can turn it off from MID : Agreed . But as soon as you go about 120kph , there will be warning ⚠️ sound by default To alert you . This cannot be turned off

Many people tend to compare the AC with a sedan car . If you set the right temperature 18-20degree in summers it gives enough cooling . I personally have not faced any issues with cooling . Since it has auto climate control , setting the correct temperature based upon weather is important .

Yes I have done a PPF on the color . Choose any color of your favourite choice , if you are spending so much . You may also do a good ceramic coating , to increase the longevity of Red color . Mind you the color used by JEEP brands is far more superior then other Indian Car manufacturers. Once every 3 yr do a ceramic . If PPF , then don’t worry for atleast 5-6yrs

If diesel , then plz buy Jeep Compass manual . MG hector is good but no power and long vehicle for parking in busy roads . Jeep is like brand statement will definitely last 10years for u . Jeep only needs one service per year or 15,000km . If ur looking automatic Petrol then , both vehicles are poor on mileage . But Jeep has better performance

Until 2000rpm it’s sluggish . If you are gentle on the paddle !! 😄 Else the turbo will give you very good feedback if throttle is pressed hard

While test drive when I press little hard the paddle I feel it’s under power .. not getting sudden power .. however other DCT like hector or creta give good pick up .. what’s your view !

Yes Amit , initial days I used to feel the arm . But ow after 2000kms in odometer . The car has been better responsive after 1500rpm

I think , if you are looking for bigger CAR & love big cars : then off course no doubt go for the all wheel drive Xuv700 top model diesel auto . Only problem is waiting time for this XUv 700 is 6-8months

Yes the steel treatment technique used by FCA patent by them & it’s not outsourced to any manufacturer. Recently I touched an autorickshaw in front , I didn’t feel a jerk . But the riskshaw guy got a huge jerk . The front bumpers absorbed all the resistance

Safety wise : above 120kph only JEEP can save you. Rest up to you . jeep handling & braking & controls are far superior then Tata & MG . Only JEEP has 5start crash test rating . Please check my other videos for more details . Space wise : Tata & MG are good .

Drive Creta and Jeep Compass in city traffic on the same day and then you decide. Most of us drive in the city for almost 80% plus. So its important to drive both of them on the same day.

If planning to keep car for 5+ yrs Buy a diesel Manual , will always keep you happy . Limited & above variant is good choice undoubtedly I think diesel auto is only 4x4 hence costly .

Hi bro going through many reviews and videos i am very much confused but my heart says only compass so help me and let me know if 9kmpl mileage achievable in city like Hyderabad? How much ur getting in your city? If it is 9kmpl i am more than happy (i drive about 1800 kms per month only in city) and i will go ahead and book my compass. Please advise

1800km/month : go for diesel manual simple . You will be very happy . I have been to Hyderabad & you got good roads . If you are buying a Petrol manual : 9kmpl it’s achievable only if you light footed on acceleration. Petrol Automatic with AC will only give you 7-8kmpl in city on short drives if 20-40km range drives . If you are looking for manual car then please buy diesel . It’s the best no doubt with good average of. 11 kmpl in city . But automatic diesel variant is very costly & only 4x4 available I think . There are other cars too : safari & Xuv700 just launched .

Very poor ground clearance for the suv stance....even brezza has better than this ....however driving at 100kmph through is lub ❤️❤️❤️....overall way too expensive to maintain and slightly overpriced...hyundai tuscon has better vfm quotient than compass and harrier is best vfm in this category...

Brezza ground clearance is 19.8cm (198mm) & Jeep Compass 20.8cm . Now : VFM ( value for money ) Compass : maintain the same standard of safety / features / Material for all compass sold in India & outside India . It’s a global car with same quality for India . Cost is high due to material used & safety & engine power + brand Tucson: in India Hyundai is still sellin the old version , while rest of world they have rolled out the new version last year itself . Even if it comes to India , the specs & quality change to fit the Indian price bracket . Please check urself & I am saying facts. Harrier: only available in diesel . Yes it’s a good car . Wish they share the crash test . Also add automatic Petrol ⛽️. Harrier , is big bulky car for me in city . I agree , harrier is good VFM if all engine options are available with 4wd

Jeep Compass : maintenance is once ever year or 30,000km . If you look at average cost of service first 3 years is 10,500₹ / year . Automatic car if abused in driving , can rip your pocket hard.

Yes in city traffic like mumbai , where it takes 1 hour to travel 13kms But on highways it gives 13 . If you can make 39km/ Hr

Weird , is this vibration with a noise ( rattling ) . Please try readjust the steering to stock height & reach position . If still there is a problem which is annoying , then visit a dealer . Check it under warranty . Also drive some other car and experience the same . I have not faced any problem with steering for past 6 months

Thanks for your response. Yeah it’s a rattling noise..Definitely as per your suggestion I’ll set steering position to default and check once .. I reached to dealer already , they are yet to investigate the issue.. I really thank and appreciate your efforts😊

Firstly I would suggest : turn the rear window light off manually. You have to push the light itself to turn them off / On . Secondly , when the doors open . Thr interior light do come ON . When ur lock the shut all doors & lock the car , the interror light stay ON for a while and then turn OFF . There is a setting in the infotainment, to turn the interior lights off completely when Doors open and close. Try that .
