FINALLY! Some good info coming back from SEMA on the Gladiators.... Brad, Outstanding comments and callouts... I think the JL folks feel like the JK folks felt last year... Everything was all about the JL with limited items for the JK... LOL New and shiny always wins out, and the Gladiator is just so awesome.... A lot (most) of the rigs at SEMA are just for show, but it's cool to see the ideas and innovations. The Rugged Ridge build is the best so far... Real world and looks awesome...
The amount of work you put into this channel is awesome!!! Thanks for sharing with all of us who can’t make it out every weekend or to every event. THANK YOU!!
The possibilities are endless. Just got my last Tuesday’s after a three months wait. already got the lift, wheels and tires. Very happy thus far. Bumpers next.
The Black Rhino and the red one before it are the best looking while remaining as capable as possible, 20s and 22s for the show cool, for the road, or the lack there of, a straight up NO GO
Hey Brad, Thanks for sharing this video with us! Now that I'm a new Gladiator owner, I appreciate the innovative products that you've shown..being a welder/fabricator, I'm taking in a lot of these ideas and concepts..but I haven't seen what is bouncing around in my head! Good to see the majority are running 40's.. The tent on the American Adventure rig is something I definitely want to know more about!! The cowl snorkel is definitely on my list too! Worse thing for me is I found out a bit too late that I could have been able to attend SEMA this year....DAMN!!!! Next year... AWESOME stuff though! Thanks for sharing! Razor!
Great Vid! I'm designing and building my Gladiator for my channel... This helps with ideas! I wish that Black Rhino jeep had the Armory Gunblack wheels! Would have made it look perfect... Best of luck!
Pickups have been doing this for years....still, the Gladiator is awesome. But a Tundra or Tacoma would accomplish the same thing with a more reliable platform and probably for 10k less.
You realise you could have done a shorter video if you just told us what you didn't like..!! luv the enthusiasm man...!!! it's so authentic and not some contrived sales pitch...!! well done :-)
Also, this stuff is way too expensive for me. Can I take my Toyota C-HR and trick it out for some auto camping? What about car covers? Where can I get that done?
I've missed out on a lot of your recent videos and I've gotta catch up; is that your Gladiator behind you in the intro?! The red is beautiful! Awesome content as always, looking to get my Gladiator in the next couple of months :) Thanks for all the awesome inspiration, Brad!
A 2 door with an old style 3 seater and auto or manual on the steering column and on a competitive price and I'd buy it over a truck. Let's face it guys, for offroading the Roxor builds beat Jeep, unless you are the son of the saudi prince that can shovel more than half a grand for having fun on the rocks.
I don't know, what would he say though? "Look at this Gladiator, it's wrapped purple with big tires and engine swap and with dirt bikes in the bed. What a great build!"?
I have to admit these have grown on me. I didn't like them at first but if you upgrade to at least 35s and level them out they are pretty cool. 37s seem to be the sweet spot IMO
The market seems to have responded exceptionally well to the Gladiator and the USA aftermarket aren't holding back, it will just keep on getting better with more and more innovative add-ons hitting the market every month. Great video Brad thanks for bringing us along.
most excellent vid Sir! thanks for taking the time to catch us up on what we can spend our money on. only one thing that, IMO, is WRONG...square headlights on a JEEP. FAIL!!!!! love the vid and your enthusiasm. cheers and have a great time.
Wish I was a spindly skinny guy. I'm not 6' tall big guy not round just big. First thing I noticed about a Gald was... Self: what's going on with my right leg? why does it feel cramped? Got in my JK Rubicon, Comfortable. Got back in Glad...cramped. Looked around maybe the seats not back all the way? no it is? Got in a JLU Rubicon...comfy? WTH? Jeep had a chance to do it right here. They made a work boot with steel toes that only goes up to size 10 in men's. Really? And here I am I typed in Jeep JLU SEMA and I can't find any good builds. I am hoping I am going to click TrailRecon's channel her in just a sec and he did two vids...one for Glad and one for JLU. If not I really do hope Bronco takes over SEMA in 2021.
The Gladiator and the Supra took over SEMA this year! Check out THE STRADMAN channel. He brought his Supra, Gladiator, and Aventador all wrapped in purple. He said Supra as many times with his walk about as Brad did Gladiator.
Those truck bed rack are cool looking but not very functional when is comes to dust and rain when camping or off roading. Dust gets everywhere. Seems like a heavy duty canopy would be better. Probably safer for theft too.
To have a place to sleep, we might need the Super S Max tow with a small camper. Unless the Rubicons rack is set up right. You do still want go, right? Otherwise, I'm headed to Monaco.
Maybe some one here can help me answer this but once you slap 35's or higher tires on the Gladiator how does this mid size even function with its HP/Torque as it is? I saw another video where they dyno a gladiator stock and then again with 37's and it was a 30 HP and 20 lb Torque loss, I can't imagine this not just stressing the shit out of the Penstar 3.6. Thoughts?
"2019 SEMA - the Supra and Gladiator show!" This year more than almost any other has been dominated by these 2 new vehicles. I love all the different Gladiators. Such a wide variety of aftermarket support. p.s. whould'a thunk plaid would ever be cool again?
Very nice, some serious great builds, One thing Brad, try to show a little enthusiasm in your narration! lol Great job...like a kid on Christmas Morning! I'm with ya Chief!
