Jeep Gladiator - OG40 - Takes on the Baja 1000

Here is our Baja 1000 race report for OG40. We took a mostly stock Jeep Gladiator and raced the Baja 1000! After 800+ miles, more than the actual race itself, we successfully crossed the finish line in time and in one piece!
As Mel explains at the end of this video it was a bittersweet wild ride! We are so proud of our team, and can't say enough great things about the capability of the Gladiator platform

Oh WOW I am sorry this happened to your team and Mel you are a decent sport as well as an awesome person. The Gladiator your team built held out very well. I have a 2020 Launch Edition and made some of your mods. Keep putting out these high quality and informative videos because we all benefit from all of your information.

Nice guys always finish last Mel.....but you finished first the in the hearts of off road community helping others and being thoughtful of clogging the road. This time was awesome....next time however will be legendary!

JK-Experience I sold my Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon and bought a Gladiator Rubicon in Canada because the Gladiator is not for sale yet in Europe. Can I buy the EVO parts somewhere in Europe? Would love to build it as an Overlander. Best regards from The Netherlands. 👍✌️💪🥇

Wow very impressive, awesome to see the reliability and durability of this platform. I am guessing the engine was the 3.6l V6, and 8 speed auto? This is the kind of RD testing manufactures, should be doing. Reminds me of KORE racing, driving their RAM to the race competitively competing and then driving it home. If that’s not truer test of vehicles reliability I don’t know what is??

awesome! I'm definitely jealous! A few questions, what lift and shocks did you run, and what was the resultant wheel travel? Also, any pointers in building a race team? I am aspiring to do this with my Gladiator in the next 2-3 years.
