Exactly! They've had enough time to figure out how to make a decently reliable vehicle, but instead, they've used those resources on engineered obsolescence so they can make more money fixing their cars than they do selling them. I've owned TJs and YJs for over 25 years and identify as a jeep fan, but that doesn't mean I don't think they should fail if they stay being greedy. GM is a company that should've never gotten a bailout, and the last decade, they've blown me away with their engines. They're coincidentally super easy to take apart, and all seem to regularly need head gaskets and timing chains. It's job security to me, but I have morals and could never be complacent with suggesting people buy one so I could stay busy fixing it

Chrysler Corporation has killed not just the Cherokee and Renegade, but also killed the Challenger, the Charger (with an EV in 2025 but whos gonna buy that), and the Chrysler 300. OH and by 2025 Stelantis (Fiat-Chrysler) will no longer be offering any Hemi engines in any vehicles :)

@@Mainz_1901 I’ve driven 2 American made cars and they’ve both been the worst cars I’ve ever driven. Chrysler 300c 2.7 diesel with the worst automatic gearbox of all time and a jeep renegade. I learned to drive in a Nissan juke and I’d rather have that than either of those cars. At least the juke had the feature of being cheap to fix when it broke £120 to have all the brakes done according to my instructor.

Yes Kia and Hyundai have gotten better in the last few years, but they still will never scratch the Goliath that is Toyota. Hell even Honda is gonna stay above Korea for the next 10 years at least.

Its especially mind boggling for me seeing the renegade get axed since here in south Africa, I mainly only see renegades and wranglers It's very rare to see a Cherokee, and extra rare to see a compass You're more likely to seeing an older liberty than a Cherokee or compass

They will sell of Ram. They already tried too. Also who cares it's not mopar anymore its Fiat, and before that is was Mercedes red headed step child. Until Chrysler can break the chains and become an independent company or be owned by a company who actually cares. Don't buy.
