Jeep J10 that I saved a long time ago for other projects is unburied and started for the first time in years and passed onto a new home.

Thanks for saving this rig and I’m glad at least he went for parts and not to the crusher . This was a great video, and I appreciate your time in making it. American Iron all the way!

I've always loved those things. They're so Damn cool. I'd even build that inline 6 like my 2004 grand cherokee and run it.

Man why would you not want to keep that?

The cab was rotted out and it was used as a field truck by the previous owners so lots of stuff was missing or broken. Another project lost to the lack of time and space. It went to a good home though

I've actually never seen one of those with the straight 6. How are they?

The 258 tuned right has a lot of low end torque but not anything impressive on the top end. Geared right they did alright in these trucks. Nothing to write home about, but they were a good enough fit for the average 1/2 ton user at the time.

Upstate NY, truck was under a pine tree so the sap and needles give the moss something to grow on. Cheers!

No sir, I actually sold it that day to a family that was building a few of them. Wish I had more though.
