Thank you so much for this. I’ve been actively asking Jeep owners for their advice about leaks. This is my third Jeep Wrangler, always manual transmission. My 2016 Rubicon leaks profusely.
My jeep has been garage kept since I bought it in 2017. I just purchased a project vehicle and I put the jeep in the driveway. Now I’m getting this exact same problem. I’ll be so excited if I can fix the issue with just a little tape.
I just bought my son a 07 Jeep Wrangler last night and I washed it today and I know exactly where the water is coming from. From either side, if your looking in the wheel well without the line towards the floorboard, there is a cavity that leads directly to that area it floods. Figured this out on my first wash today.
I replaced my carpet with BedRug. I ordered it off of Amazon. I tried cleaning my original carpet and it helped, but it still had a bit of a smell. Hope that helps.
