Metalcloak for the win! Next time you have those fenders off, check out the Metalcloak bolt kit. They make a nice kit to bolt those flares on instead of those pesky plastic clips. But I do agree it looks a lot better, especially with that front chopped.

will this chop kit also work on a gladiator overland or just the rubicon.

It is specifically made for the JT/ JL Rubicon. Sine the Overland doesn't have the high rise fenders I don't think they will work even though they are two piece.

After gutting out the fender liner, are they still pretty sturdy? Because I’m curious how they gonna hold up don’t want my fender flare just flow off in a highway? Tia

They are pretty sturdy, with that being said I still had one fly off when going about 90 haha you need to get the Metalcloak fender snaps too not just the factory ones and you won’t have any issues!

I ran 40x15.50s on my last 3.6L Rubicon and have seen 40x15.50s on a 2.0L sport. They can handle way more than you would expect. Thanks for watching!

It's pretty common when getting a really large tire usually a 40 or in this case a 38" on 20s 😢. I had to do some cutting in the front and rear to keep it low and still stuff the tire. Nemisis high clearance inner fenders will give you the most clearance also. Curious how well the factory cv holds up front.
