In this video I replace the front brakes and several small suspension parts as well as install the front piece of the lift kit and replace differential fluid. Enjoy!
Eventually if you want to upgrade the lift, try getting Old Man Emu 2927 up front and 2948 in the rear. It will ride better than it did when it came off the lot. I paired that with Bilstein Shocks as well
@@atouchofhutchadi can attest.. I have the OME parts and they're fantastic. Being I also live in MI, with our roads... The best suspension you can get is almost a requirement
Well done for all your fine work! I have a 2004 Jeep KJ since new, and my only comment is to avoid such lifts. You will have issues with your CV joints, they cannot work properly in such extreme angles. My advice is to go with the OME lift, the Jeep will handle much better than stock. Also use Terraflex 1903200 front bump stops and two hockeypucks in each side on the rear. Finally, if you have spare badget buy the Jeepin by Al control arms. I hope you enjoy your Jeep!
Hey buddy, I just wanted to ask if you're sure the lift spacers go on the bottom? I'm sure iv seen other lift kits with the spacer at the top of the strut ? Just wondered. Anyway, good luck with your jeep good stuff 👍
Yeah I’m sure they do because there is a hole for the bottom of the strut to fit into and the strut has to bolt to the body of the Jeep inside the engine bay.

There should be other brands that make them as well. Hope that helps!
