The Jeep Meridian sits on the Compass platform, though it has been modified significantly to accommodate the third additional row. For power, the SUV uses the same 2.0L, 4-cylinder Multijet turbo diesel engine that does duty in the 5-seater sibling. The motor makes a top power of 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. Transmission duties are performed by a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
