Hey guys,
In this video I recorded the process of removing the entire rear trunk plastics, and the rear seats top and bottom. I don't really explain much, just show which panels I do in which order.
All audio in the background is courtesy of 98 Rock Tampa Bay, as it was on the radio in the garage.
The plastic panels are all held on by plastic clips, in order to "pop" them you have to give some force. It may look like i'm breaking my panels but it's really just me trying to apply enough force to it.

I got the same color I’m in Florida Fort Lauderdale and so far from what I see I’m the only one with my color yours is the only one I seen with the same color

AutoZone sold me the ratchet and sockets needed to unbolt the seat from the floor but then the seat belt was attached and it required a different parts and of course they didn't have the individual part so I had to buy another set and it was screwed down so tight that it's ended up stripping so now I can't get the seatbelt removed will I have to cut the strap off?

Hi Brad, I have a 2016 Jeep Patriot and was curious if its possible to remove the rear left quarter panel interior and knock out a dent from the inside, but from your video it looks like thats not possible. Do you know?

My dad and I removed the backseat from his patriot a few days ago to make room to move furniture. Problem is, when we re-installed the seats I couldn't remember if the buckles went on the front side of the seat or the rear. At 8:15 I see that you took off the bolt that I think is where one of the buckles goes right? Or does it go on the back side of the seat with the nut? Also, at 9:05 you take off the bolt that I think is where the second buckle goes, is that right? Thank you.

The buckles mount on the side if memory serves.

I'm a bit confused. On the front side of vehicle or rear side of vehicle? Front side uses bolts, back side uses nuts.

+Adrian Landeros sorry for the confusion, nothing bolts up front. just the seat itself down by the foot of the driver. In the rear there should be three nuts to hold the seat down and two more closer to the quarter panel metal that a nut holds the seat belt to.

so the seat (bottom) pulls of the frame? Thus exposing the otherwise near impossible to reach bolts under the seat area.

Is there room beneath the rear seat for stereo and / or radio equipment? I have a 2014, and would like to put an odyssey battery somewhere, as well as an amp and a couple HAM radios. I considered underneath the trunk 'floor' plate, but don' think there's clearance between the spare etc. Battery might fit in the storage cubby on the right, though.

There is definitely not room I've removed mine in my 2014 it's just floor pan and access to fuel pump underneath

@@tittysprinkles6518 I popped a Kenwood TS-480SAT just behind the rear seat after pulling 4ga power from the front - been running well, so i think it's time to drill ;n bolt the bracketry in place.

Tina Daniels, no at least with my 2009, you can not tow anything with the Jeep Patriot. The transmission is not rated for towing.

+WILLINGTON PATIÑO Hey Willington, the panel is secured via plastic pegs which are plastic welded to the back. My best advise would be to remove the entire quarter panel piece then access the best way to remove it. I broke mine in the process trying to remove it from the front.

Anyone have a patriot with the speakers on trunk for tailgating? I know its an option for the compass, i just disnt know if you can get it on the patriot.

Take the flour out where the spare is there will be srews for the way panel were the speaker is. Be careful on the clips that hold it they pop off. You can then remove that panel to get to speaker. Its not hard.
