Great videos sir I had a question and can’t seem to get any help anywhere I have a 2022 jeep renegade limited I want to put 17” rims on it with an AT tire any recommended ideas rim size and offset also Tire size the truck currently has the factory rims on it which are 19” hope you can help out
If your Jeep is lifted you can go up about 31 32 inch tire. Pending on your lift. Go with a wider rim with to give you an offset. If no lift you maybe able to next size up or 2 on the tire tire size. 8” with rims work well with the rene
@@WickedFabz I’m running on stock suspension so looking for something that will fit that any recommendations on a not so expensive setup that is good rim brand sizing etc and tires sorry about all the questions new to renegades but love the look of them when they have nice mods like yours
I am trying to install this right now but once I get the bolts out and bracket in and out , the tow hook bolts will only go 1/3 way in and stop , is there something I am missing ?
I don’t think your missing anything. I do know the tow hooks don’t come out. The bracket slides in and retighten them down. But don’t tighten it all tight until it is all together and in place.
@@WickedFabz thank you for the reply , I think somehow the threads were damaged when I took the bolts out , not sure how but I don’t know what else to do. I can’t get them more then a third in , and the other side same thing on one bolt only one will go all the way back in.
I don’t think you damaged them. Come to think of I believe mine was the same. Don’t cross thread them. Tighten them down. I think they do that so the bolts don’t loosen up when using the hook. It might have lock right from the factory on them.
This happened to one of my bolts as well. Its because its most likely a robot torqued that thing on to never be removed. Just run a tap through it as I did and it'll solved it
Sorry I don’t. Been kicking that idea around for some time. Think I’m going to do it. If you do go with the one in the bumper that way it doesn’t effect rear ground clearance. Merry Christmas!
@@WickedFabz My wife has a 2019 Renegade Trailhawk and sometimes I wish I could tow it with my car. I plan on buying a Curt 19745 tow bar and see how that goes. Thanks for the reply.
In order to install the bull bar i must have the the hooks installed? I am asking this because i have a 2016 Trailhawk and i can’t find a way to install the bar!!
So i must buy the hooks in order to install the daystar bull bar right? Because i think without the hooks there is no way to install it. Thank you for your fast reply Man
