Thank you so much. I've actually broken 2 of my swivel socket adapters trying to get at those bolts under the seat. I almost cut the brackets out with my Sawzall because I was getting so frustrated. You rock dude, thanks
Looks great ! You can also check on eBay and see if someone is selling the new factory fabric covers because they switched over to leather and don’t need them anymore ! You can probably get the whole set of front and rears for a few hundred dollars !!!
don't be fooled ! took 6 hours to do it. ONE bolt, outside floor passenger side, refused to move and I had to use a breaker bar and 1/4 turn for every repositioning of the bar. Tons of WD40, many, very many choice words. The bolts are VERY long and stick out below the bottom of the floor and are exposed to all the mud, salt , you name it. IF you shear them off, you are going to have a real chore to replace the seats if you ever want to. Many of the bolts just need typical persuasion. THAT ONE took 4 plus hours of tedious 1/4 turns. Space is too tight and wrong angle to get an impact on it unless you have specialty tools. For guys like me, the average joe with reasonable mechanical prowess, many tools but not everything, time and perseverance is the only way to go. BUT I DID IT !
Hey man great video. Can you share a link to these rear replacement seats? I did not catch the brand/make etc? We have a 2010 Jeep jk and the rear seat cables/mechanisms are completely broken and rusted so looking to replace! Thank you!
