You totally took me back to my stereo days talking about passive crossovers .. Good times man ... We definitely had it a lil rougher back then to get our junk to sound good lol
Talk about systems I had a buddy that I went to school with and the amps he ran he would buy em that ran the competition but he had extended cab nissan built box bolted seats back down to were you couldnt get the speakers out unless you pull all the interior out but its been a while I know he ran Rockford fosgate and with the system turn up in that little truck about roll the windows out of it push the roof up
Those skar amps are the best bang for the buck now days. They put out what they're rated for or above, and far more affordable than any other amps on the market.
Man if you ever figure out how to wire up the cruise control buttons and map them to stereo controls PLEASE make a video. I've searched high and low for this and have yet to find anyone that has done it. I ditched my cruise control unit years ago but always thought it would be slick to remap those buttons for stereo control
Yeah I did here while back and omg no wonder they would shit the car completely off those 309 watt rms amps where putting out 3000 watts at 1/2 ohm crazy power back then they where def on there game I had a 2250 and a 2150 running 6 12 inch xtr orion soeaker solo baric on the 2250 and all my components on the 2150 in a 89 gt mustang back then it was crazy loud 138 dB and sound was perfect
So how did the completed stereo turn out ? I’m planning on installing this head unit also , how was the subwoofer output I’ve heard of some having to use a line driver because of weak preamp voltage from the atoto. Let us know !
Would be nice to have a link where to purchase this for the best price. Sure would be nice though $350 is a bit more then I prefer to spend on audio for my Jeep or 1st gen Ram, but would be slick.
holy crap, did you just yank the display ribbon right out of the connector on the chassis??? I saw that you just pushed the display back in and it still works, did they get rid of that stupid ass ribbon?
ok now yah have me searching this one out to upgrade my 4runner.. Try waze for your nav. hey see if you can gain a affiliate link so we can order through you..
Hey Rusty what happened? You were gone for awhile, remodeling a house on a farm. Did you move? Hope everything is good and miss your trail vids. Thomas
@@Rusty411 hey bud, I have the same amp and the same wire reducers but they don’t work because the power and ground wire are too right next to each other and the reducers touch. Let me Know what you did to solve this. Thank
@@Rusty411I ended up soldering 1/0 to a short piece of 4 gauge to go to the amp. I used a piece of copper tubing as a coupler to solder them together. I don’t know how safe that is but I’d rather have 1/0 than the 4 gauge running to that big ole amp.
