In this video we cut out a bad section of frame and weld in a rust buster repair section. RB2015L
I attribute my successes to god and give him the glory.

Jeep is an American icon and now we put on Chinese frame patches. Figures. You showed a lot of patience though repairing this..

Thank you. I try to just work though the problems. Ive found getting mad just makes it worse and doesn’t fix anything. This one was definitely a tester though.

My youngest daughter wanted a Jeep. I talked her out of it😂. I just bought a 10,000 lb two post lift for my garage. I’m getting to old to be laying on concrete. Great video Jason.

That’s two things I want right there. A garage and a lift. I tried to talk her out of it but after a year of it I finally said go ahead. Now she’s wants a Audi or a Volkswagen. I told her I don’t even want to hear it.

Thank you. It would have been nice to just put it in without cutting it up, but I couldn’t leave the Jeep there like that for the three days to get a replacement. It seems that is the theme for everything I do lately. Its either not right, broken, missing, defective, or the seller can’t be bothered to sell it to me or make sure they actually have it before selling it to me. It’s getting a bit frustrating. Got it on there though. Thank you for watching.

Very challenging weld position. You did alright tho.. I just got a second welding helmet, my daughter wants to watch me weld. God bless from Australia.

Nice work! Probably the strongest part of the frame now. I had to make a few patches to my first gen tacoma frame when I still had it. Will see how long the 2018 frames last now lol.

Thank you. It seems to be holding up pretty well. I was concerned it would break behind the new piece because it was so thin at the bottom but it seems to be fine. I hope your 2018 lasts a long time.

I'm 65 and still love to work on my truck and Goldwing. I wish I had a lift also. for the truck and the bike.

I had been thinking of making a pit sort of thing in the side of a hill. I might stack some concrete blocks where the wheels will ride and dig out in the middle like a pit with one end open just to get me by. It won’t be a lift but it will help with some stuff

I’ve looked into the cost of a replacement frame when I built a jeep years ago and they were pretty pricey back then. The Jeep has been sold since, but I agree it could have used a new frame.

I used to repair rusted Jeep Wrangler frames and would ONLY use pieces built by AutoRustTechnicians (autorust.com). They are superior frame replacements, built to factory specs and use jigs for their construction, and fit perfectly! Oh, and they're extra stout so you'll never have to do this work again. All that crap you buy from CHINA usually gives you more problems than any money you save. Give them a try...they have awesome diagrams of all the Jeep frames (other vehicles, too) and are MADE IN THE USA! Love the videos!!!
