Applauded for having made a simple and traditional song into a song with good parts and with blasting performance. Be Blessed all the songsters. Your efforts and pains had been reverberated through this. Glory to God Almighty. Amen.

Members of the CSI Church choir, Sharjah singing in Malayalam at the combined churchs' choir fest in the UAE. The name - Church of South India - should be enough to discern where the church is based.

@1989jerryk: I'll make an attempt - ASAP. The first line is an invocation to ‘𝘑𝘦𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘯' (The Living God). Maybe you'd like to listen to Malayalam versions of 2 hymns which you're likely to be familiar with: • 𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jsuz0UUAuGE.html • 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QAuLsE0DAHk.html

@panyepeter2656: It is traditionally believed that St. Thomas the Apostle brought Christianity to India - i.e. Kerala, which was probably then, the only source of spices like pepper and cardamon. This is an original song with lyrics in Malayalam. I assume that no one has taken the trouble to work on an English translation. Malayalam hymns are translated to Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi, etc.
