I remember this race very well. I was in church that morning and friend asked me where Jeff was starting at and I told him 36th. He laughs at me and says "He ain't gonna win"...I told him "It's not where you start, it's where you finish." He called me that night and congratulated me on Jeff's win and said I was right. I'll never forget it.
You know something? Talladega seems like a real milestone-like place for both Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt. It's where Dale got his final victory, and it's where Jeff got his 50th career win, his 77th win that passed up Dale's win record, and it's where he got his 80th career win. Gotta love 'Dega!
DAMN, Jeff had a dominant car....pulling out and passing and then tucking back in line with no help/pusher at a restrictor plate track??? I wish nascar could get their sh!i together so I could be a fan again..................
how about scott pruett there!!? afer the big one which he started is here running in the middle. by himself for a consistent 3 to 5 laps. side drafting. amazing.
Well, I started watching the show a couple of weeks ago. It's actually very funny. My half-sister used to love My Little Pony. Neither she nor my mom like Friendship Is Magic. My half-sister said today's ponies are masculine compared to the ponies that she grew up with. My mom said the original ponies were perfect as opposed to today's ponies having personality flaws. I remember it was only girls that liked My Little Pony, now it's mostly guys; Today's flawed masculine ponies must be the reason.
