Jeff may have had his wrecks but he never missed a race because of it and most of his wrecks were concrete walls and not his fault , no safer barrier , true racer and GOAT !!
At 1:33, that was at Texas. I was in the infield at the entrance to turn 3 across from where the 2nd scoring pylon used to be before it got blown down by the wind. It doesn't take long after a restart for the cars to get strung out all along the track and pretty soon, you can't hear anything except for the cars. I had walked into my RV for a second and actually heard him hit the wall. He hit the wall just after the exit of Turn 4. It was loud as hell even as far away as I was. That is the only time I ever heard a car hit the wall there. I saw his car later and it had been pushed in about a foot at the passenger door. He is extremely lucky he didn't get hurt badly.
