Few people doesn’t know. I remember whole race. That last pit stop. Jeff and Dale jr pitted end up fell back mid pack somewhere 20th. It was like 100 laps left. I remember both of them was racing though traffic before race ended. Jeff was able to caught rusty with 12 laps left. Dale jr stayed behind Jeff and kept passing cars. Jeff end up won the race when Dale jr finished 3rd. They were very consistent whole race. Also it wasn’t first time Jeff did that to rusty but twice. One in that video you just saw. And other time during day time. Not the night time. Now you understand why rusty wanted to kick his ass to payback but couldn’t.

That bump-n-run between Jeff Gordon and Rusty Wallace in the night race at Bristol will always be the one I'll never forget for decades to come. That was 2 days before my 11th birthday! I wonder if NASCAR penalized Rusty for using that 4 letter dirty word on live TV that night?
